waaa... what a mistake i did in benching hughes... one player benched could have given me the win for this week. deym. see reasons..

larry hughes stats for today. 33 points, 10-19 FGs, 3-6 3PT, 10-10 FT, 2 rebs, 2 asts, 1 stl

my current score with boss bubs is im down 3-5. with no player playing in bubs team tomorrow, i could have locked some of the cats...

down by 10 FTs (tie na sana)

down by FT% (10-10 could have tilt in my favor)

tie in 3PT made (win na sana)

tie in steal (win ulit sana)

down by 3 asts (hughes playing tomorrow could give me a win in this cat).

i could have gone up 6-3 today.. deym... my mistake.. my mistake! should have stuck with hughes... tagal ko pa namang pinag-isipan un.. deym talaga... :grr:

oh well, back to regular programming.....

deym pa rin...... :(

ikaw naman gusto mo ako mashado malubog.. ceiling ko na nga yang 5-3, basement ko can go as low as 2-9.. wag mo na palaruin si hughes :D

^why you want my main guy traded?

hehehe

personally, I think he should stay in Memphis. in one or two years, they're gonna be great...

mark my words...

hehehe

on a non-fantasy POV, i think memphis will rebuild soon. i dont think the owners can wait for two or more years. they cant be great within one or two years.. too many top teams in the west to go by. the usual suspects DAL, PHX, SAS, UTA; upcoming contenders in the next year LAL, DEN, HOU and other intangible teams LAC, MIN, NOK.

i believe the grizzlies wont get past these teams within the next season or two. plus they're trying to land oden, they have to lose!

on a fantasy POV, wherever he might end up, his production would still be the same.

^fantasy POV, not to sure about that boss. if he ends up in lets say Chicago, his points would probably be the same but his rebounds, assists and minutes would most probably take a dive as he'll be in a more team environment where Skiles would want everybody to be a threat and contributing. that's why I never liked/fancied getting any of the Bulls guys aside from maybe if one of them accidentally becomes a bargain at that round. if he did actually land in a team weak in the middle and perimeter-oriented, like for example, Washington or NJ, I'd expect him to be more productive as he'd have more chances and probably more potent teammates than what he has now in Memphis which hasn't shown any consistency outside of Mike Miller.

in a non-fantasy POV, next year they'd probably have a good pick which would either be for a PG or another wing player as they do have a chance at the lottery. with the season improvements of their bigs(Warrick, Roberts, and Johnson) Pau would actually have more help inside and Gay & Miller would take care of the perimeter duties. who'd they be able to pick in next season's draft would be play a key role as if he can fill the hole in their roster that will be quite obvious when this season is done (especially after the trade deadline where it is possible that they'll be unloading most of their veteran players), it would go a lot of ways for their upcoming season and the years ahead.

and this goes without saying that all this "optimism" for their future would also depend on Gay finally show some consistency and shed off that bad image he got from college as a floater and realize his potential to be a star in the league...

IMHO boss bubs...
