They told us that it is "an inflammation of the conjunctiva, the thin, clear tissue that lies over the white part of the eye and lines the inside of the eyelid" and we have no reason not to believe them.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's probably worse than that, kasi conjunctivitis is the plain red eye or sore eyes and as such it's really nothing. Swift sustained a corneal abrasion and he's gonna have to get a lot of goop (vitamin C, topical antibiotics, among others...) into his eye for it to heal ASAP. I think 2 weeks would be a good time to rest that eye but the Rockets might want to have him back much sooner so he's gonna have to do the Kareem thing and don goggles when he gets back.
