kLique Posted February 16, 2007 Share Posted February 16, 2007 i hope you're wrong man. coz i'm watching the game live tonight. kasama ko pa officemate ko na ginebra fan. ayokong ako ung ma-alaska after ng game. hahaha!  i think di na ibebenta ng smb ang game ngayon. i also hope danny i suits up for today's game. they badly missed him out there last time out. when pena and adducul both got into foul trouble (not to mention the fact that the referees were trigger happy in blowing their whistles against smb), san miguel got clobbered off the board and that's when reavis made a living. i hope the refs call if fair this time since di na ma-ssweep ang ginebra. not unless gusto talaga ipapanalo ni danding/henry ang ginebra... :cry:  GO BEERMEN!!! we shall see! it just a gut feeling that I have...I'm expecting Danny I to play come game 5... relax lang muna sya later... The refs was too harsh in calling fouls on the SMB players, a lot of them has got 3 fouls or more. SMB was on the penalty most of the time which gave BGK a lot of points to pile up that lead. The refs practically handed BGK the momentum.  2. Why on earth was SMB not taking the shots from the 3 point area? in that second half? It's what got them those first 2 wins and they did not use it when they needed it most? It kinda made me think. Quote Link to comment

kaplogan Posted February 16, 2007 Share Posted February 16, 2007 in all honesty i think smb is the best ball club in the pba, period! kahit ano pa sabihin ng iba, if you look at their roster they have the best line up in the league....even if you compare it to the line up of ginebra. they can score at will if they want to and they have proven it. i think their 2nd stringers can be a starting 5 for other teams, that's how strong i think they are. in this series, it's a matter of economics....if wouldn't be good for the pba, financial wise, if smb swept the series, right? sa sobrnag lakas ng SMB yun tambak ulit...economics pa rin ba?  halatang pamigay un game 3...3 drop pass ang na anticipate ng ginebra..same spot...sunod sunod...so parang binigay nalang un game..feeling ko para kumita naman un pba or what... meron pa kong na pansin...ang line up nila is ...danny s., hontiveros, tugade, tenorio..and 1 more ( i cant remember kung wilson or espinas), samantalang sa gin kings.... menk, caguioa, helterbrand, johnny a and salvacion. after ng 3 consecutive turn over. di man lang nag attempt un smb na mag time out....feeling ko pamigay talaga..babawe tayo sa friday... :grr: game 4 pamigay pa rin? Dati hindi ako naniniwala na wala bentahan ng game sa PBA pero sa napanood ko kagabi eh parang ganun ang nangyari. I mean 146pts? whoah!!!but had SMB played their game tlaga.. trust me this wouldn't be a blow-out...probably with the way they were playing... Ginaya pa nga nya si barkley ng gesture nung game 7 nila against seattle nung 1993 hehe eh game 1 pa lang naman ng series. game 2 naman nag aadjust pa si menk kaya ok lang but come game 3 and 4 i think ginebra really beat san miguel. I think 2 years ago tinalo din nila yung san miguel sa semifinals ng all filipino, si rodney yata yung nag tres to give them the win in that series and if im not mistaken they won the championship againt a powerhouse tnt. kaya i dont think na hindi kaya ng ginebra ang smb even if danny I is healthy. parehong deserving to win ang smb and ginebra but only 1 team will win the championship. Now i am just wondering kung bakit walang laro ngayon at wala namang dahilan para mawalan ng game ngayon, baka mawala ang momentum ng Ginebra going into game 5 sa wednesday... Quote Link to comment
