dallas316
This time, San Miguel Beer made sure the young turks will fall on its lap. Philippine Basketball Association commissioner Atty. Chito Salud approved on Wednesday night the revised trade of the Beermen to secure the services of Noy Baclao, Rabeh Al-Hussaini and Rey Guevarra — the top three picks in this season’s Rookie Draft. The Beermen sent veteran player and former Rookie of the Year awardee Danny Seigle to the Express and included in the package shooting guard Dondon Hontiveros, burly center Dorian Peña, and guard Paul Artadi. The revision made by the Beermen got the nod of Salud, who on Monday turned down the initial offer of San Miguel. The only pioneering franchise in the PBA planned to send Seigle, Joseph Yeo and Mick Pennisi for the young turks in the first trade deal, a deal which was immediately shot down by Salud. On Tuesday, a sealed envelope with conformity from both squads, reached the PBA Commissioner’s Office. Unfortunately, Salud wasn’t there to act on it as he needed to attend to his dad, former PBA commissioner Rodrigo Salud, who was in the hospital. - Quote Link to comment

Makikita mo rin kung anong priority ng SMC as far as kung sino ang gusto nilang makakuha ng championship. Edited March 3, 2011 by Sl@MDuNk_Mitsui14 Quote Link to comment

dallas316
I hate to see Danny S. go, sana nga hindi na lang nangyari yung trade Quote Link to comment
photographer
Bakit nasama si Dondon H.? With all the things he has done with SMB, ganun pa ang kapalit? Bakit hindi na ang si Illdefonso, medyo bagumbado at pikon, masamang image sa SMB ang pinakawalan? Quote Link to comment

junix
i agree. i wouldn't be surprised if even caguioa will be traded someday. Quote Link to comment
Mild Seven
it's the owner's at the end of the day who will make money here. why do you think air21 would agree to a lopsided deal? i think the lina franchise won't last long in the pba that is why they are making these trades...para din naman kumita sila. if you think of all the franchise players that air21/fedex has already given up, why would you do it if you really want to win a championship? remember, the contracts of these players are worth millions. pogi_cute
I dont know what smb is doing. Getting hussaini is like getting another type of player like washington who is tamad and knows only but shooting the ball. The players doesnt fit one another. This team needs a major revamp.
