jetrink Posted December 31, 2009 Share Posted December 31, 2009 crab mentalityusisero / chismosonot customer-friendly (Filipinos are said to be hospitable pero in case of customer service, majority of my encouters are either suplado, parang urat pa na kinausap mo siya, etc.) i largely agree with this. pinoys are hospitable when trying to be social and friendly, during their free time. but it seems that if the job entails giving prompt,courteous,helpful,knowledgable service, most filipinos involved in retail or similar work are wanting in this regard. customer-service is where some of our neighbors (singaporeans,malaysians,thais,indonesians) have sadly outdone us. You become a movie starlet, you can run for presidency, too!2. Crab mentality - which I always pray to God I get a non-Filipino boss.3. Ultimate western wannabees - any new US TV show, be sure after a month, we have our own version4. Poor hygiene - spit, piss and crap everywhere5.
