Filipino Habit That You Hate

I do not like the Filipino habit of dishonesty. Not all of course. But majority, especially the lower class, they tend to hide something from their employer. Then sometimes, they also invent half-truths. And the idea of Marites is related to that.

Something that we cannot deny is laziness. If you observe your employees, even if you give them additional 2,000 per month as perfect attendance bonus, usually only about half of them will meet the perfect attendance list. If you compare that to Japan, Singapore and Malaysia, we surely lag behind them.

After reading some of the comments above, about 60+ comments in 4-5 pages, I notice that some of the guys here mention "utang" and "mañana habit" of the Filipinos. I totally agree with you. Most especially utang hehehe.😁 More than 10 persons who borrowed from me during this pandemic have never paid a single peso yet. Usually utang ranging from as small as 1,000 up to 20,000. Some have already paid. But less than the majority. So now, I only choose those people that know how to pay debts. You lose your trust in people who do not keep their promises.

Some Filipinos tend to try to impress people who actually do not care. I mean, why would you do that in the first place?

Filipino Time. It shows utter disrespect to the people you're dealing with. Yung iba, tsaka pa lang aalis ng bahay kapag nasa meeting place na ang kausap nila. O di kaya will make up incredible excuses to justify their lateness.
