jors1116
Living in PH has its pros and cons, kung malaki sahod mo dito eh ok lang you can live comfortably but for others na isang kahid isang tuka or minimum mejo tagilid mas ok pa mag abroad sila. Quote Link to comment
dexterslab2010
I prefer to live here in the Phl since I have a stable job with a decent salary. Quote Link to comment
Onibaba
Pag ako nag retiro kukuha ako ng sariwang dalaga para mag alaga sa akin. Araw araw ako iinom ng gatas. 😍 Quote Link to comment
chessboxin
Most Filipinos just look at the gross salary without factoring in the cost of living. Employment is no different from running a business. If you're able to sell an item for 100,000 but the cost is 95,000, you're worse off than someone selling an item for 10,000 but the cost is 3,000. If it's just money, yung net savings mo sa abroad, kaya mo rin maipon dito kasi mura ang cost of living dito. Ang problema lang talaga dito, your lifestyle eventually hits a ceiling because of poor infrastructure. Someone earning 100K a month here lives a lifestyle not so far off from someone earning 2M a month. Parehong stuck sa traffic, parehong napapara ng traffic enforcer, sa parehong resto lang din kayo kumakain. At walang variety ng chicks dito. 99% of the time you're with Pinays. So kung gusto mo makatry ng ibang lahi or ayaw mo sa culture ng pinoy, wala kang choice. Quote Link to comment

Even American execs would have a tough time getting that. Heck they'd be happy to get 1M or $15K a month. Edited February 6 by jedimaster Quote Link to comment
abduljackolsalsalani
With how the Philippines is faring and with our political direction, it seems like living abroad would be the better choice. Quote Link to comment
BossMabaet
Here in the PH. Basically if you now your ins and outs. Also if you network well, you'll enjoy life here. Was able to build a corporation through networks alone. Will be building another business this year. I'd say living comfortably in the PH and being a tourist in those first world countries is the best setup for me. Quote Link to comment
cranbewy
As much as how living abroad feels more luxurios, I'd love to stay here in the PH because of its culture and its people Quote Link to comment
pofe123
I have decent pay naman dito sa PH so I prefer staying here. Big fish small pond. I'm already comfortable here. Then bakasyon na lang sa ibang bansa every now and then. Quote Link to comment
BiiZ
If you can find a job na decent un salary na di naman magugutom family mo better stay here in Ph nalang. Being Pinoy abroad lalo na sa US/EU will never be fully accepted ng society as their own. Kahit 3rd Generation pa yan and US passport holder na. Tingin padin ng mga locals sa inyo is foreigner or immigrants. So parang di mo alam saan ka lulugar pag nag migrate sa US or EU which is for me is sad. Bakasyon nalang sa ibang bansa pag may extra budget. Quote Link to comment
thomassanders
I've thought of this a thousand times, whether life abroad is better than living here. Pros outweigh the Cons, but I'd rather live and stay here and then take a vacation abroad. I've seen my family and friends living abroad, and it's hard. Yeah, high pay and good life, but the difference in culture and being "home" still lacks. But at this stage of my life, I'm still very much open to anything if there's an opportunity, why not.
