Hex_Arenas
Thanks very much hitman for all the songs! Would you happen to know of this certain song by a OPM band named House of Beth (?) or House of Death(?) and the song is called "Radical"...Ive been looking a long time for it. The lead vocals is a girl with a raspy voice. Kasabayan siya ng Deans December, The Dawn, Identity Crisis, etc... The song goes: You said you wanted to change the worldWhat am I supposed to doIve got better things on my mindOh no Im not like you Oh....Radical, aaahh yeaaah, Radical... ayun hehehe Anyway I hope someone would put in there yung original versions ng 1. Tupperware Party (by Violent Playground) (?) Another day of pretending, blending inRunning around town in your chameleon skinThe people you greet think you're theyre friendWhat they dont know wont hurt themHiding behind your charming smile is a kindness that is as smooth as a file You go out to town only with friends you needYou dont really like them but on them you feedYou drink their wine and suck their blood and when you're through you leave them in the mud...going here and all over the place greeting people with the appropriate face... Chorus:Theres a Tupperware Party for people like youOnce youve been there Im sure youll know know what to doThere plastic food theres plastic drink theres plastic girls galoreand theres lots of room in the dancing floor" 2. Never The Bright Lights 3. Song for Anna (by Third Light Band) <- this is a very obscure and hard to find song and band Anyway... hitman natuwa talaga ako sa collections mo. It's only now that I was able to listen again to Book of Love by Book of Love :-)And also yung Victoria by the Fall, State of Art by Friends Again, and theres Build by the Housemartins! happy too with Mary's Prayer, Some People I know...Highest High, very hard to find...nice din yung Brighter ng Railway Children. They have another nice song called Over and Over right? Anyway...I do have the song TEARS by the Chameleons in 2 versions. One is yung live and the other is the one from sa album. Maybe I could share it via upload to your virtual database as soon as I know how. Thanks again! Quote Link to comment
Hex_Arenas
Hey guys have you listened to Nouvelle Vague's covers of new wave songs? They did a very sexy cover of Melt With You (from the Mr. and Mrs Smith soundtrack), a wispy and surreal sounding version of Killing Moon originally done by Echo and The Bunnymen, and they also made a now famous remake of Billy Idol's Dancing With Myself which was used as the opening title song for the hit show LA Ink (the one with the pretty girl tattooists and of course Kat Von D). I actually like their versions better sometimes, especially when they did In A Manner of Speaking originally from Depeche Mode. Edited May 10, 2008 by Hex_Arenas Quote Link to comment
Hex_Arenas
And also, yung lead singer ng Love Spit Love (Am I Wrong) is the same guy na lead singer ng Psychedelic Furs....I dunno the guys name. Pero yun nga, kaya pala magkaboses is because it's the same guy :-) Quote Link to comment

I have this new wave song in my head I never knew yung title and name ng band, but I know the tune and some of the lyrics (of which Im unsure if tama) but here goes, meron syang lines na: "It was right before my eyes..." (and then another line whose end rhymes with 'eyes'),then yung chorus, => "It's synthesize" (?) "Oh give me a break, it's a sticky situation..." (or is it 'tricky situation'?) Yung chorus parang puro synthesize ang sinasabi... girl ang vocalist. Hay...hirap pag di alam ang song n artist no? Edited May 11, 2008 by Hex_Arenas Quote Link to comment
