hitman531ph
thanks a lot hitman.....oh, while we're at it....i hope you can put in some pieces from Steve Miller Band like Jet Airliner, Lynyrd Skynyrd, UB40 and Icehouse.... hitman531ph
First thing I look at when putting in songs on site is the date of release. Sometimes crossover songs from say, 1979 to 1980, are included in the 80s site since the song became popular already in the 1980s. Quote Link to comment
hitman531ph
correction asmodeus......ELECTRIC DREAMS is by Giorgio Moroder of Human League.... TOGETHER IN ELECTRIC DREAMS - performed by Girogio Moroder with Philip Oakey on vocals. Giorgio Moroder is more of a songwriter and instrumentalist. Philip Oakey is the lead vocal on Human League. He took time out of Human League and even recorded a solo album with Giorgio Moroder as producer. Philip Oakey has a minor hit Goodbye Bad Times after Together in Electric Dreams hit the UK Top 10. Together in Electric Dreams is the theme song to a Electric Dreams which starred a very young, cello-playing Virginia Madsen and a computer named Edgar who called his owner Moles due to error even the computer's owner's name is Miles. The soundtrack to Electric Dreams included Together In Electric Dreams as well as Culture Club's Love Is Love. Love Is Love was a major hit in Japan and also had much airplay in the Philippines but not much elsewhere. Quote Link to comment
hitman531ph
Thank you for visiting the 80s site. Because there are still many 80s songs out there, there is a second 80s site now. (I also have built a 90s site... which is still a work in progress) Quote Link to comment
Noobtobias
I'm not much of a backreader. How about Tears for Fears? They were a great 80's duo. Woman In Chains, Everybody wants, Sowing the seeds.. the stuff. They're all good, I still listen to them every now and then. Quote Link to comment
hitman531ph
Trivia... The very first single of Tears For Fears, The Way You Are, did not appear in any album and was released before the first album The Hurting. The single was only moderately received in the UK and US. Released in 1982, the song is now a new wave classic. Quote Link to comment

nobody17
ganun?? eh di ibig sabihin 80s bands din ang Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Blur, atbp, na na-form nung mga late-80s ang alam ko dapat sumikat nung 80s yung artist and/or songs nila para ma-consider dito well if they did indeed start during the 80's then yes considered well i think ....ang nakalagay lang kc sa thread 80's music so i guess basta 1980-89 kasama pa din.... hitman531ph
Sometime in the mid to late 80s, there was a revival of The Three Stooges on TV. The revival of Moe, Larry and Curly was sparked by a song performed by Jump N The Saddle Band that reached the US Top 20. The title of the song is The Curly Shuffle. You can find it on the site.
