bbadwidme
Gaming? About as good as a generic windows PC with an equivalent video card. I suggest you just buy that computer and not a Mac if you will be primarily using it for gaming. Actually I still have a desktop PC for gaming. I'm just curious about the gaming aspect of the white macbook since I'll be using it as my mobile PC when I'm not at home (for example, work, vacation, etc). Quote Link to comment
boomouse
Hello. Is there anyway to set-up my mac as a server using globe tattoo as my ISP? Thanks! What kind of server? Files, apps, web services? Or just internet connection sharing? Quote Link to comment
sirlet
What kind of server? Files, apps, web services? Or just internet connection sharing? Internet sharing sir. I will use tattoo to my mac then share the Internet to the iPod touch. Quote Link to comment
artvader
I do that all the time. Just go to preferences, sharing and check the internet sharing checkbox. On the pulldown menu, just select the port that the Tattoo is using (ZTE-something), then click the checkbox for airport. One thing I can say about the Mac: it's super easy to do these things... boomouse
Your new Mac may already come with the things you need. Check in the applications folder if you have iWork. That is a folder that contains three programs: 1. Pages - to open doc files and you can also save in doc format2. numbers - can open and save excel files3. keynote - can open and export powerpoint files while being vastly superior to powerpoint. Beyond this, well, everyone who goes from Windows to Mac will have to feel their way around for a while. You will hate it or love it. But if you don't want to do this, just install windows on your mac. Edited January 19, 2010 by boomouse Quote Link to comment

Glad too see you all here. The new iMac 27" is too expensive but look at the specs.. 2.8Ghz quad-core Intel Core i7, 8Gb DDR3 memory, 2Tb sata HHD. reasonable for its price ... So i only settle with 21.5 " model kapos sa budget he he he Quote Link to comment
