160 to 180 kph most of the time. 200 kph and above if the road is free.

 

Clark to SM Sta Mesa = 54 minutes

Splash Mountain Los Banos to Sm Sta Mesa = 43 minutes

Agoo La union to Baguio uphill climb = 40 minutes via Marcos Highway

Subic to Makati = 2 hours

Well, there are race cars and street cars...

Last year, at Talladega Speedway in the US, my wife got me 50 laps for my 40th birthday. I averaged 281-289 kph (175-180 mph) around the big oval. Top speeds on the straights--faster.

YEAH, BABY...YEAH!!

In a street car, going in a straight line--that's different. Three years ago, in Makati, 245 kph (152 mph) in my old 750il (with a V-12) on the Skyway on a Sunday early morning (could have gone faster, but chickened out when I saw some roadside workers). Car was not struggling at all--gotta love german muscle on the highway.

Hello All

1988 Mustang 5.0 240 kph @ Higway 401, can't do it now with the new racing law.

2005 Boxter 200 kph Taylor Kidd Kingston, Ont had to stop on a dime after a stupid raccoon decied to cross the street

2003 Fiat (can't remember, it was a rental) autobahn 230 kph, scary thought I was going to have a blow out, saw blurry crosses on the road but cars were still passing me.

1980 Lancer EX 1.8 turbo 140kph @ Ortigas

1976 Lancer L type with Saturn and Webber...can't remember the top speed but floored it many times on the way to Nueva Ecija (my first car)

Wish I can try a few laps on an F1 or even Nascar...
