Nimh are also ok..but in the case of the canon g9... you don't have a choice sa stock battery...unless you wanna go for replacements... yes its true lithium ions are the choice for high-end dslrs ...but in point and shoot stuff...depende na lng... yes g9 is better than the s5 is..but would you really buy it? i'd go for a dslr if i got the budget..if i don't maybe the s5 is...a better buy i think the g9 is for the high flyers..but maybe you are... just my two cents... dpreview.com or cameralabs.com Quote Link to comment
