Government should take over transportation sector especially yung mga tricycle... lakas nila maningil...

Actually, government never gave up its power over the transport sector - or the othe public utilities. What it gave, it could always take away. Now why it does not want to take away is another story.

The reason why the gov't has difficulty regulating tricycles is because it is easily classified under the non-formal sector and, therefore, subject to self-regulation in a form of an accredited organization like the TODA.

True, but operations of tricycles are also limited to certain areas only. However, take a look at Katipunan Ave infront of Ateneo. There are signs na bawal ang tricycle pero nandun sila right under the nose of MMDAs and walang huli because the MMDA is more interested in getting the unfamiliar driver who stays on the left lane for U-turn. By the time you find out, it's too late and huli ka na. You see, traffic rules sa Metro Manila are not really intended for traffic flow improvement but to catch the unaware. Kaya tignan mo angmeasure of success nila - how many tickets. Yun ba talaga ang dapat na measure? Hindi ba dapat how many vehicles are now able to negotiate a certain stretch due to the regulation? Maybe it's the crab mentality kaya ganyan ang orientation.

But back to tricycles. While I don't like them either, I fail to see the logic of bakit sila bawal sa major roads. Sabi nila dangerous.

My proposed laws:

1. Voter's ID number will be the TIN. This way, only those registered taxpayers can vote. Please follow my logic: If you are not a taxpayer, you are not a responsible citizen. If you are not a responsible citizen, then why should you be allowed to vote for someone who will affect the state of the nation?

5. Sa courts, a reasonable time to resolve a case, and any number of days delayed would be equal to the number of days the judge will stay at Bilibid. Magsama sila nung mga kinulong niya. But how can that be? Right now, may certain number of days na nga na sinabi ang Supreme Court but how can they really enforce it when sila mismo ang tagal? In short, walang moral ascendancy.

To be continued na lang kung may maisip pa akong iba ...

Mabuhay tayong lahat

More proposed laws and this time on House and Senate investigations.

6. No new House or Senate investigation can be started unless a bill has already been submitted from the previous investigation. I don't know how true it is, but I was told that these investigations cost the taxpayers some one million pesos per day, yet wala naman bill na lumalabas. I even recall one Senate investigation na ang findings e: file a case against so and so (DOJ pala sila); and (here's the kicker) come up with a bill to ........ Duh!

7. No television or radio coverage nang investigation (print lang para naman the people are still informed). Anyone who has witnessed these investigations will know na boring na ang takbo, until dumating yung press and duon na pasikatan at the expense of the humilation nang witness (pwera lang if yung witness e bishop).

On other laws:

9. A law which will cancel the Lina law. Sabi nila it's "the stupid Lina Law". Lahat sila stupid?

10 Mandatory review of laws with the end in view of canceling a certain number as target per year.

All children should be included in this law, special mention lang mga batang squatter sakin kasi sila pinakamaraming naglalaro sa lansangan na nasasagasaan.

This is where we have had a problem for many years now. Taasan sweldo nang teacher has always been a dream based on the assumption that higher pay brings higher quality (although not always the case but generally is). How can this be done? Increase tuition, which brings the rally na naman ng estudyante? Pwede din government subsidy na pinaikot ikot lang but in the end tayo pa rin nagbayad. Ang given our kind of record keeping, it opens a pandora's box to katakot takot na corruption. Assuming pwede nga itaas talaga sweldo na competitive nga, what do we do with so many bulok na teachers na nakuha in the past kasi yun lang ang tumangap nang mababang sweldo? Our labor laws would make it practically imposible to kick them out.

legalize prostitution.

why not legalize prostitution, set standards and educate...

Why not? It is not illegal in some countries like Singapore. In the Philippines, it is illegal so that the Police, the courts, and the media can make a killing out of it. Catholic church will object? My goodness! They cannot even put order in the communion in a lot of their churches they will worry pa about how to put order in the whole country?

lets make a law putting up signges where crocodiles and other predator lives para people are aware ....

Then that would mean putting the sign practically everywhere in the Philippines. Sa EDSA na lang there are so many of them wearing blue. He, he

What if the law will deprive those illegal settlers their right to vote?

I wrote on something like this previously. Kung baga sa cooperative, kung hindi ka member, hindi ka pwede mag vote for board of directors. But then, sino ang matapang at magpapakatotoo na politician who will sponsor this bill. Eh nakikinabang sila present state of affairs

Baguhin ang Batas na pabor sa mga nagkasala at mandarambong, parang pinoprotektahan pa kasi sila ng batas natin, Human Right? how about the right of the victim's?then yung batas na nagpoprotekta sa mga menor de edad..kumusta naman ang mga menor de edad na maaga pa kung ano anong krimen na ginagawa dahil ika nga nila di naman sila basta mapaparusahan. Kamay na bakal dapat.

It's a terrible law. Imposing death penalty on minor crimes which is also under criminal case such as theft, minor physical injury is ludicrous. Minimum of 25 years on ALL civil cases will further congest the prisons and may even spark a revolt due to extreme injustice.

However, this might be the answer to overpopulation problem. laugh.gif
