rontan2014
He does not answer all my prayers, because not all my prayers or my wants follow His will for us. Hence the question, do you really need to pray? Quote Link to comment
shysadlonely
Hence the question, do you really need to pray? Based on your question, "do you really need to pray?" that is indeed a good question; As a believer, everyone knows that God does not need anything, hence the prayer is for those who believe in God. Either God answers the prayer or not is up to Him. Regarding your question, it depends on the person and that person's beliefs, there are some who believe that you don't need to pray anymore because God already knows what we think and He grants only what He thinks you need, etc... etc... but for some the prayer acts as a psychological effect to those who pray, and gives them comfort and relief that there is Someone more Powerful than anyone in this world that can fix their problems or protect them in any harm, its mans nature to look for shelter in when it rains.... The prayer is not for God, and God already knows everything... so the prayer of a man is for himself, so that he can feel safe that he can confide to someone about his problems. So the answer is it depends on the Man who prays and his beliefs. That is just my perspective. Edited May 30, 2017 by drss Quote Link to comment

But that's not for me to judge. Quote Link to comment

albuang
The Bible degraded God, Bible describe God in a way of human thinking and most of the time contradict the so called true nature of God Quote Link to comment

rontan2014
Religion is the weakness of humanity it was a system made by greed Agree. Latin "religare" meaning "to bind" is the root word of religion. Instead of binding "the soul back to God", as the intention; it became binding "the soul to dogmas". Hence, typical world religions are an instrument of control. Spirituality, however, intends to seek Truth. Quote Link to comment

2WarningPoints
Yes, God answers my prayers, but mostly I'm happy that His answers are no... for instance when I was in school, I ask God to give me a particular girl in school to be my wife coz I really like her... if the Lords answered yes my life would be like hell right now. People usually mix religion to Christianity, for me religion is something that organized and you have to follow , Christianity is your personal relationship with the Lord Jesus... it is a relationship between a Dad to a Son or Daugther, this does not include Mary, Peter or any saints... it is a full focus on the Lord Jesus and Salvation is a Free Gift the people dont have to pay anything nor any amounth of work necessary to obtain it... Salvation is a Gift of God.. I know Christianity is not for everyone and I cant lame them, coz I was like them before I'm Just glad I got saved. hope people who read this get saved too and seek the one who's returning soon... Unwritten
Yes, But the reply may not be exactly as what is asked. It is up to us to accept and then earnestly work on all our hopes and aspirations to make them into reality. Nasa Diyos Ang awa, nasa tao ang gawa. Quote Link to comment
