romyg Posted May 9, 2011 Share Posted May 9, 2011 Hi to mtc's medical group gusto ko lng kasi itanong tungkol sa skin ng anak ko nung mga 6 months old kasi sya nag karoon na sya ng parang kati kati sa skin pinacheck namin pero sabi baka lang sa gatas ng nanay (breast feed) masyadong ma oily ang kinakain ng nanay so tinigil namin ginatas nlng namin sya ng normal pero ganun pa rin bumalik ulet kamni sa doctor ang sabi namn baka marumi lng daw ang paligid e malinis din namn bahay namin. hanggang umabot na sya ng 1y/o ganun pa rin laht ng pinatignan namin na doctor is haka haka na baka sa weather,pagkain na ma oily,gatas, etc. naawa na kasi ako sa anak ko laging nangangati. anyone kunting help.. kung d nyo po ma gets kung anong klase yung kati kati nya sa katawan i send some pics.. thanks skin irritation can be caused by allergy or infection. too young to have a skin tumor. most likely allergy dahil sa length of condition. better to see a dermatologist. HardOn Posted May 10, 2011 Share Posted May 10, 2011 Is there any pedia here? ask ko lang. kasi yung baby ko na 13 month old, ang gatas nya is enfagrow a+. pero nun pinacheck up ko sya sa pedia nya kasi 1 month ng inuubo, sabi baka raw may allergy ang bata. binigyan sya ng antibiotic tapos pinalitan ang gatas nya ng NAN HW two. nawala ang ubo nya at binigyan sya ng maintenance for 6 months para raw sa allergy yun. GUsto sana namin ibalik sya sa enfagrow kasi mahina sya uminom ng gatas kapag NAN HW two. pwede kaya? Ano ba ang difference ng enfagrow sa NAN? totoo ba na nakakallergy ang gatas? It would best for you to consult either an allergologist (internist who specialized in allergy) or a clinical dermatologist (to be sure, you can look for PDS-accredited dermatologists since with them, you can be sure they have clinical training and not just cosmetic). After giving birth a year ago, hindi pa rin sya dinaratnan ng menstruation. Nagpapa-inject sya ng DEPOTRUST contraceptive every 3 mos. We ask her OB kung normal lang yun. And she said it's normal. But i am still worried na baka makasama ang hindi nya pagkakaroon ng monthly period. Nirereklamo nya rin na nasakit ang kanyang puson. Please advise me. Tnx I'm not a pedia (not even a doctor), so when I reply, nagmamarunong ako. I believe sa age ng anak mo it is better if sa breastmilk muna siya (if available ang mother). Otherwise, kung totoo na nagdevelop siya ng allergy sa enfagrow, malabo nga na ibalik mo siya doon against the doctor's wishes. Tungkol naman sa paghina ng iyong baby sa pag-inom, hindi kaya naninibago lang siya? I'm thinking iba ang lasa ng NAN sa enfagrow, pero babies feed according to what they need. Quote Link to comment

Tnx Late reply, but anyway. Caveat, Pedia is not my specialty. Yes, milk can be a significant cause of allergy. Better follow the Pedia's recommendation. Nan H.W. is made up of Hydrolyzed Whey, meaning the protein source (whey) is broken up into smaller protein particles, making it easier to absorb and be less allergenic. The down-side of this is that it gives the milk a little bit of a bitter/metallic taste which is probably why your baby doesn't like it very much. Quote Link to comment

While im at the province at gumamit ako ng arinola, i saw na me something yelowish solid sa urine ko sa anirola, anu kaya ito at anong sulusyon dito? Quote Link to comment
