they're still around up to these days, but during my childhood (when I have money) ...... our foodtrips has always been fishballs being peddled by those with the stove and the multitude of dipping sauces in a cart.

 

during those days, with 20 pesos in hand and with the fishballs selling for 5 cents a piece, that could go along way.
