Smart, Globe Or Sun?

Been a sun postpaid subscriber since 2004. So far no major problems. I even use their broadband services.

 

 

I'm very happy with Sun's data service. Speed is reasonable even on the road. I do hope it stays that way.

Smart & Sun! I used to be a Globe sub 2 years ago but I had the most horrible experience with them regarding my unlimited data subscription. Apparently the service wasn't switched on from their end (received a confirmation that it was) which led to me being charged a whopping bill of Php 27,000.00. All my explanations were futile, kesyo hindi daw na-on sa system nila etc. Hindi matatapos yung argument so I just paid the damn bill and switched to Smart. Never had a problem since.

Globe, but I just use basic call and text. I haven't had any problems so far. I prefer Smart though for connecting to the internet.

I've been using Smart's LTE service for a month now. Max speed I got was 25mbps while the lowest is 10mbps. Ang sarap mag-streaming, download, and online gaming without lag. LOL. I hope they remain cap-free even after June 30!

In prepaid:

 

for serious use - Globe or Smart

 

for fun - Sun

 

Why? Because Sun doesn't allow the retaining of cell numbers in the case of replacement of lost/damage sim.

 

Sa sun, no sim replacement nga.. But if u have not reloaded your sun prepaid sim within 120 consecutive days, it will be deactivated automatically and

di mo na nga mabalik yung number mo but wag ka, pwede pala nilang ibenta ulit yung number na yun as they term it as REASSIGNMENT (recycle). In my case i was not able to load my sun prepaid sim in 12O consecutive days, so pinabayaan ko nalang ma deactivated, since i told myself bili nalang ako ng bago. But to my surprise, one time my eldest sister called to my deactivated sun prepaid sim, ring daw ng ring di ko daw sinasagot, kasi naka unlicall siya ng sun that time, so sa inis nya, she called to my globe number.Bakit ko daw di sinasagot tawag nya.. " huh, ikako, matagal ng deactivated yung sun sim ko kasi di ko niloadan in 120 consecutive days" . I tried nga na pinaring yung sun number na yun, oo nga nag ring, babae nakasagot, i asked her saan nya nabili yung sim, she told me sa sun shop, then i hang up....

 

Sa inis ko, i called the sun hotline, asking for the explanation if bakit pwede pala nila ibenta yung number ko, kako i have my proof kasi nasa akin pa yung sim pack ( tinatago ko yung sim pack just in case ma PUK, ma retrieve ko agad). I even told the sun csr, if itong ginagawa nila ay legal.. The lady csr told me na wala naman daw silang nilalabag na batas at ok naman daw ito sa NTC. Panu nalang kung ibang tao yung nakakuha yung sun number ko na deactivated at tumawag iyong ate ako dun, magtaka yun..panu nalang meron magtext friends ko sa sun deactivated sim ko and asking for sharing ( give a load) term ng sun ng pasaload nila, at lokohin sila... Yun lang naman disadvantage sakin... So, i have decided na sa mga contacts ko, nag bibigay ako ng code na just in case mag text ako sa iba network lam na nila that they receiving a legit text from me, just in case lang naman na iba number gamit ko and they already know san ako ma contact...

Smart. Maayos kasi yung coverage and services nila. Lalo na sa LTE.Globe naman minsan sablay, walang mobile net sa ibang areas.Sun... choppy. phone. calls.
