Globe (even though they're having some technical problems right now), Smart as back-up.

for serious use - Globe or Smart

 

for fun - Sun

 

Why? Because Sun doesn't allow the retaining of cell numbers in the case of replacement of lost/damage sim.

I have tried the services of these providers and have switched from one to another a couple of times already:

 

Sun - from personal to office use since it has unlimited sun to sun texts and calling minutes, now they have the Php200 peso load good for one month that has (x) amount of text to other networks

Globe (before) - for work purposes

Now: Smart Freedom Plan user, personal use and for mobile surfing. I've had it for a week and my bill hasn't even reached Php20 yet. I subscribe to the 0 (Zero) bucket plan, get billed when you use it. It's like a combination of pre-paid and post-paid lines.

Been a sun postpaid subscriber since 2004. So far no major problems. I even use their broadband services.

^SUN mobile broadband is better than globe, never tried SMART though, im only considering it for provincial data accessibility

 

in manila or other major cities i wouldnt bother to use SMART data services

you might want to re consider your statement

 

I'm a Smart Broadband convert from SUN, although I'm still paying for my Postpaid SBW

 

I always use SMART for my download needs
