yup. less load on the engine. pero kapag naka baba bintana mo tapos mabilis takbo mo (around 60-up) wala rin yung benefits kasi yung drag naman nung hangin tumataas.

I agree, turning off the ac with your windows up, makakasave ka. Pero I doubt na kaya mong magtiis, the drag caused by unrolling the windows will cause your engines to work more than it should.

Plan your trip, I use MMDA App to check the traffic in the Metro. The best time to go Makati from Alabang on weekdays is 12:00nn in SLEX. Or at night.

You should have your vehicle properly maintain, easy on the acceleration, and remove unnecessary weights

or strategically speed up and coast on gear.

 

when that happens, your fuel flow rate is 0.

tip for automatic vehicles:

 

it might sound counter-intuitive pero you dont need to wait for the transmission to shift gears for you. Pwede nyo sya force upshift (on regular automatic transmissions)

 

gently depress accel pedal up to 1,500 rpm while rolling. once at 1.5k RPM, lift foot from accel - forced upshift yan to next higher gear.

 

conditions:

Hindi pwede pag naka sport mode

Hindi pwede sa mga CVT transmissions
