talabaxxx
Hi, Can anybidy confirm that the battery of all Mazda cars are different from motolite, outlast or etc... I think the battery itself cost Php 18,000, why is this so ? why does mazda have special kind of battery for their cars. This means it is costly to maintain mazda cars that any other brands. Can someone shed light on this ? Quote Link to comment

Kazuma100
Mazda3 may v8 engine na kaya? Quote Link to comment
SkinDeep
@talabaxx It might be reverse polarity? (as to the motolite dealer told me when my ford everest batteries died) Iba lang positioning siguro ng positive and negative compare sa normal batteries. Note: Mazda and ford are sharing technologies. I guess this is one of those technologies they're sharing. Quote Link to comment
ej_qn
@talabaxx Note: Mazda and ford are sharing technologies. I guess this is one of those technologies they're sharing. Nope they're not. Mazda has severed ties with Ford a few years back and the only platform I recall them sharing was the chassis for the bt-50 and ranger. Other than that their engines, drivetrain..etc.. are all different. Mazda is partnered up with Toyota right now to co-share tech and research. Quote Link to comment
