just be cautious not to overdo it. it was discovered 3 years ago in taiwan that the chemicals in the coating of the styro bowl react with some of the flavorings with heat as a catalyst and produce a cancerous substance. as much as possible, never cook the noodles inside the styro bowl. It is also loaded with MSG and salt, so those with weak kidneys and who are prone to UTI or prostate infections, beware.

best noodles in terms of:

noodle texture: HOMI by RFM-president. this technology transfer from taiwan has given RFM the edge. the noodles dont easily get soggy with overcooking.

flavor: hands down- lucky me la paz batchoy

for imported noodles:

nissin ramen made in hongkong. there are around 8 flavors to choose from. sold in big supermarkets. nice flavors are curry, sate, seafood, kobe beef

lee kum kee curry beef with true beef in retort pouch. cost around 80 bucks but definitely worth it.

wei wang spicy beef noodle

original nissin shoyu flavor made in japan

noodles coming from korea and china are rather bland in flavor but still reatin the MSG and salt content.

Excited na ako matikman yung sa advertisment ni Sandara ung Tekki Noodles Asian, Sate etc.

As for Atong Ang's comment, I heard that one in an e-mail na rin. That's why as much as possible I avoid cooking it in the styro. About the MSG, I try not to put all the salty condiments in the noodles just half of the contents.

I also read one e-mail back then that you should not eat instant noodles everyday because it's not healthy ( forgot what's that). You should wait 2 or more days before eating another one to flush out the bad stuff from your body.
