1shooter
ako din nagpaplano bumili ng 2nd hand 2000 model ng CRV M/T sana.....baka po pwede humingi ng advice, tips etc..... baguhan lang kasi ako at ngayon pa lang ako bibili ng kotse....first timer ehehe! ano po ba dapat ko tandaan sa pagpili ng CRV? ano mga dapat ko hanapin or tignan? ano po mga dapat ko i-check? etc.... salamat po!One of the biggest attractions of the CR-V is that there isn’t very much to worry about. In fact, with no recalls affecting the car, and Warranty Direct reporting that it’s one of the most reliable cars on their fleet, pretty much all you need to do is look out for a car that’s in a colour you like, and with the specification you want. As long as a CR-V has been maintained according to the schedule, it should run and run. The only note of caution is that the suspension bushes and brake discs may need attention after about 50,000 miles Quote Link to comment
dyodyo
the CRV gen1 can take a banging.. got a 2nd hand unit 4yrs ago, it was fine when i sold it last year to buy a gen3, tune up change oil lang katapat.. the gen3 (2.0L) on the other hand.. suspension is weak, sira na kaagad mga shocks though honda replaced them without asking questions.. ayaw tumakbo at first.. as in ang bagal nya mag-accelerate!! my brother told me about the i-VTEC's learning curve.. it needs to be driven hard a few times for the engine to learn and adapt to your driving style.. after running it 180kmh on the highway a couple of times ok na sya.. i get decent acceleration but poor mileage.. shoulda gotten a diesel X3.. oh well.. planning to buy Gen3.. try ko what's really the difference from Gen1.. all
Same goes with Civic sa mga places i mentioned. Maybe because of goal priorities, kaya sa F1 sila at hinde sa WRC. Sa WRC naman, the most impressive in winning history belongs to Subaru line of WRX. Next came Renault/Peugeot. Di makumpara ng Toyota ang tatlong iyan. Hmmmnnnn...nabanggit dubai dun a. Alam ko nag da drag sa dubai e ung mga pinoy die hards sa honda. well as for sentiments between the civic and corolla here, majority choses toyota over honda. pinoy lang talaga maka honda. indiano maka toyota. numbers pag uusapan and people's sentiment, lamang toyota although aminado karamihan na maganda tlaga looks ng honda and malakas humatak. Quote Link to comment

ricoyan
Altis has a 1950's era primitive Torsion Bar suspension and the same engine as the old 2004 models. Quote Link to comment
