So hindi sya nadedetect thru normal cbc? Kasi all of a sudden bigla na lang sya nanghina and bumagsak immune system. Prone ba to infection yung mga nagbantay sa hospital?

No. Normal CBC does not test for HIV infection. You will need to specifically undergo HIV screening. HIV/AIDS is generally only transmitted via blood / semen contact.

 

You cannot catch HIV through saliva.

 

You will need to inform those who have had sexual contact with your relative to get themselves tested. It appears your relative is not aware of his/her HIV status.
