r.dean
Regarding epididymitis, the inflammation may last for 6 months the least. It may due to a lot of factors, but often is caused by unsuspected, and wrongly diagnosed urogenital infection. If you are a young sexually active man (45 or younger),bacterial infection should be the first to be checked. Quote Link to comment

crei
Sir r.dean san po ba may mura or free consultation ng sti? Quote Link to comment
r.dean
Wala po akong alam na libreng pagamutan ng STI. HIV testing lang po sa RITM. For sure, mas mura magpagamot ng STI sa govt hospitals kesa private hosp and clinics. Â A lot of men pay expensively to get laid. And complains afterwards that its so expensive to get rid of the std they get for that lay. Hehe. Hindi ko naman nilalahat, madami din naman nahahawaan lang ng partner na nahawaan ng ex, etc.Safe sex, everyone! Quote Link to comment

r.dean
Hpv question... what if a girl has already had hpv then she have a wants to get a vaccine, will the hpv in her system go away?hpv vaccine is not therapeutic, its preventive. Whatever strain she has will no longer go away. But giving the vaccine is still mandated to prevent other strains from infecting the recipient in case exposure to source continues. So if she already has a strain, it won't "go away" but she will be protected from other strains. Quote Link to comment

The best test for infections within the urethra would be to get sample from the urethra and analyze it.Was it your doc who asked for urinalysis or you just thought of having one done? r.dean
@dakki, for chlamydia, smear analysis, from your urethra.See a real doctor. I am not discounting the helpfulness of dr. Google, but when people start self-medicating based on what they read from the internet, it becomes dangerous and the case can get more complicated by the time it is brought to a doctor. 1 Quote Link to comment
