Hi, I read that for women, urinalysis would not be able to detect gnorrhea. If so, then how can the woman detect if she has gnorrhea or not?

 

wrong, gonorrhea can be detected by urinalysis, but you have to tell the laboratory that you are suspecting gonorrhea so they can do a gram stain of the urine sediment. any way the better way to detect is gram stain of a vaginal smear. hope this helps.

hello docs. mag tatanung lang ako re STD's. i had previous contact with a nightclib girl. nag condom naman ako so medyo confident ako na lesser chance na mag ka sakit ako. my worry though is kung anong possible na sakit ang ma kukuha INCASE may sakit yung girl. ma linis naman yung area ng ari nya no signs of warts etc pero pag bigla kumati yun saakin natatakot ako. although alam naman natin sometimes na ngangati din talaga. after the contact ba gaano ka tagal mag karoon ng sign and symptoms pag talagang infected ang babae? medyo na pa praning ako eh!

molluscum is a kind of a wart...caused by a virus....cautery is the easiest way to treat it....being a virus pwede kasing mag spread to other area of the skin before the cautery...kaya pag nagpacautery ka...akala mo ok na...pero may silent invader na pala...kaya dapat early cautery of all lesion....may chemical cautery din..pwede rin pa minor surgery....hope this helps

hi guys. anyone can recommend a good doctor that i can go to? preferrably a small or privae clinic. been bothered recently after i shaved down there. noticed some bumps. could it be warts due to std? or could just be an ordinary wart? thanks in advance

docs, brief history lang. before mga 2009 active ako sa sex kasi wala gf. but since july 2010 stick to one na ako. but recently after i shaved., noticed some bumps sa dulo ng base ng shaft ( area where shaft meets the pubic area), and a tiny parang excess skin sa side.ng shaft. could it be warts? is.it possible na after a year lang nag manifest ung warts? or pwede ding matagal na un na unnoticed lang? im wondering kasi based sa net highly contagious siya., but ung current.gf ko wala namang complains na unusual sa genital area nya , were having sex since.july 2010 pa. im confident na hindi naman siya nakipag do sa iba.

 

please enlighten.me.on.this. suggest doctor., preferrably private or small clinic. thkanks in advanxe

molluscum contagiosum yan. Any private clinic at SLMC, MMC or cardinal. Icacautery yan para matangal. Its just hibernating in you or your partner and will erupt once the opportunity arrives

Also looks like condylomata, early stage, pero it does have that little induration in the center seen in molluscum, anyways, ask about liquid nitrogen, it will work for both condyloma and molluscum

just want to clarify mga bro's recently lng ako nagkamolluscum pero yun nagpacautry ako..nun una meron pa after 2nd to 3rd session sinasabi ng doc sakin wala naman daw siya nakikita sakin sinusunog na lang niya yun sinasabi kong makati..nwei..i was just wondering bat nangangati minsan yun genital area ko yun lang yun nararamdaman ko..any suggestion?

Hi. last month, this is our first time we did with my new partner. after our first session nung morning sinabi nya sa akin nya parang may UTI sya. she had a test and yung result ay cystisis daw. ako naman after she told me that, its like i feel the same parang binabalisawsaw. hindi naman sya cloudy, no bad smell. inobserbahan ko naman after 2 days nawala naman. kaya sinabi nya sa akin baka naparanoid lang ako.

 

ngayon naman pagkauwi ko pag wiwi ko may napansin ko na may dugo sa patapos. papa test na rin ako this week.

 

ang masama lang na pumapasok sa isip ko. kung itutuloy ko pa ba relationship namin. parang nag duda na ako na baka may ibang partner din sya. or before na maging kami. parang feel ko baka iba iba ka sex nya.

 

may case ba na dahil lang sa cystisis ng girl pde na ako magkaroon ng uti? pde rin ba na yung cause ng cystisis nya ay sa ibang partner?

 

mas tanggap ko kasi na magka uti or std ako dahil nag sex lang kami. hindi yung uti or std dahil galing sa ibang tayo.

Caused by a different virus. Better magka molluscum kaysa genital warts ( as caused by HPV) After ng cautery yung wounds mo will heal normally 2-3 weeks. Yun lang there is chance of recurrence

Yup may infection parin yung girl at nahawa ka. Patingin ka na.

of course, the incidence is lower with oral sex...but it is very possible...we already have a case of gonococcal pharyngitis...nakatulo sa tonsils...(and yes, gay ang patiente)
