  1. Stop, just stop. Ano mahirap dun? Its all in your head. Unless addiction yan na nanginginig ka na pag walang yosi. :)

    Actually, smoking has been classified as a form of addiction. It's even thought to be more addictive than heroin.

     

    During my first two weeks, the withdrawal was so bad I wanted to bang my head on the wall. My brain was so used to the nicotine that it kept sending me signals to smoke all the time. Good thing that lasted only a couple of weeks, then I have to fend myself against triggers, places or activities that usually made me smoke, such as after meals or even as simple as my walk home .

  2. guys....exceding 5000 kilometers na ako...OK lang ba? kahit magpachange oil me ng 8000 kilometers? hindi ba masisira?

    Follow manufacturer's recommendations for oil intervals, newer cars have longer change intervals.

     

    As for extending length, okay lang if lumagpas ng konti, but do not go beyond what is recommended.

  3. Honda because they put in a lot of creature comforts in their cars these days. My brother's CR-V is packed with tons of features. Dati matipid din sila sa features pero ngayon, busog na.

    Toyota, on the other hand, medyo nagtitipid pagdating sa features, usually HU nila AVT lang. I drooled when I saw the features list ng Aussie spec Hilux, tapos pagdating dito, halos bare na. And I don't like the way they pressure you to buy accessories to get ahead of the waiting list.

  4. Uniqlo. They're relatively cheap and can last a long time. Mga sinauna kong Uniqlo pants niretire ko lang kasi either kupas na or maluwag na sa akin.

    Zara is nice, malambot yung tela tsaka sarap suotin pero medyo mahal lang.

    malaking bagay yung mapaliit ko tyan ko haha badtrip ang hirap kasi mag-diet. lalo rice.nakow.

    Kaya yan. Ako 1/2 cup of rice lang pag lunchtime tapos dinner wala na. Kung di kaya iwasan kanin switch to brown or red rice.

  6. I quit cold turkey. It was torture. I wanted to eat and eat and eat. It went on for a year. I gained weight. Then i relapsed. Mas lumakas ako magyosi, about a pack a day. Then switched to vaping for 2 years. Then nagrelapse nanaman. I used to smoke lights, now reds na. Then i asked my wife to charge me 1k pesos whenever she smells that i smoked. After paying her 6k pesos, i decided that i will go bankrupt if i continue. i hope to finally end my battle with cigarette addiction. Last cold-turkey na ito, i hope.

    Kaya yan sir, basta pag dumating ang urge, labanan mo lang. Eventually all those urges will disappear.

     

    Tsaka kahit ano pa mangyari, never take another puff. Ever.

  7. Exercise more regularly and consistently. Even when you dont feel like it.

    Agree, this requires discipline as well. Dati ayoko mag gym, as in ayoko. Maghahanap utak ko ng excuse para di na ko umalis ng bahay. Pero lagi ko pa rin pinipilit sarili ko na bumangon tapos pumunta ng gym.

     

    Nakalagay nga sa wall ni Fitness First dati eh "Motivation is what gets you started; habit is what keep you going". Pero for me dapat nakasingit din dun yung discipline.

  8. Used to smoke before and after a workout, ramdam ko rin nun parang walang masamang epekto sa akin until I decided to quit smoking. The moment I quit, biglang nagimprove stamina ko, mas tumatagal na ko sa treadmill tapos kahit tapos na workout di na ko nanghihina.

    IMO, better to quit smoking lalo na if you have a goal in mind, kung siguro napaaga quit ko eh baka mas pumayat at mas lumakas pa ko.
