    What's Your Video Card?

    Need your help. My current rig is going to be used by my brother for video rendering (HD and SD) what video card would be best suited for this task?

    Current rig is

    MOBO- MSI P45 NEO3

    4gig ram

    radeonx1650 pro 512mb

    Forgot the processor but from what I can recal c2d e7500 2.93

    500w psu

     

    Planning on getting the gts 450 with psu Thermatake lite power 700w. Would this do? Or either a GTX 460 then a 750w Corsair psu(very pricey though).

    I don't want to be a prophet of doom but chances are it may happen to your laptop cause it's a video chip problem. Dell and HP are the usual brands that have plenty of complaints because again IMHO they sell more notebooks that have these VC's compared to Vaios. BTW, even MacBooks have issues with notebooks using these vidchips.

     

    It is actually an overheating issue which eventually leads to your notebook having hardware problems (i.e. no display but notebook is running, losing your wifi signal, bsod, sudden resets, garbled screen, etc.). The best thing you can do right now is to protect your notebook against overheating. Buy a good notebook cooler that will help dissipate the heat. Also take into account your notebook's air circulation, put space in between the table/lap/pillow/bed and the notebook's fan intake/outtake which is usually seen under the notebook.

    I just learned that this laptop uses a hybrid type of graphics system. WOuld it help if I only used the onboard Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 at (STAMINA MODE) rather than using the NVIDIA® GeForce® 8400M GS notebook graphics processing unit at (SPEED MODE). You can switch between the 2 kasi at the flick of a switch on the panel. I think am already experiencing this doomed defect of the nvidia card while i was booting it up earlier. The screen was bricked for a while on startup but eventually disaapeared as it was on the log on area... I may have to bring this back and good thing it's still on warranty..     If you're going to buy HP notebooks, which IMHO do not recommend, please avoid models with 8400M, 8600M, 9400M and 9600M NVidia video chips.

    Does this only apply to hp laptops only or other laptops as well that have these video cards? Have a sony vaio VGN-SZ79GN/C which has the same video card that you stated. Thank You

    what about your diet bro? are you losing weight ?

    Have packed on at least 10-15lbs of muscle but was on a different set of supplements around 2 months ago.

    (Dymatize elite whey chon (2 servings a day non-workout day, 3 servings on a workout day; Creatine 2 servings workout days, jst a serving a day for non workout days, Thermorexin 2 caps 2x a day; and glucorell 2 caps prior to meals.)

    Have already adjusted my diet as consulted with a friend who's a nutritionist

    as of now already lost around 4-6lbs

    Want to have a bod like Hugh jackman's. Big and ripped but not BAD ASS big if you get what i mean. :thumbsupsmiley:

    Hydroxycut hardcore 2 caps am 2caps pm

    Animal pak 1 pack a day(11tabs na napakahirap lunukin)

    Chromium picolinate (1 cap a day of 200 mcg)

    Syntha 6 2 scoops per serving 2 servings a day

    Am hoping to really get ripped.

    weights 3-4 times a week cardio(boxing and spinning classes at least 2-3 times a week)

    Am planning of adding sesamin or man vaporize but cant seem to find it here.

    I am a 2004 1.6 Altis owner. Nasa 40,000 kms na ang mileage. I'm so busy that I miss check ups, in other words neglected yung car. But so far, I have no problems. Smooth pa rin yung ride. Meron pa nga nagcomment recently nung nag-hitch na friend ko, "bago car mo?" Gabi kasi so hindi napansin na hindi yung new look na altis.

     

    Better not miss your check-ups. already saw an altis just about your car's age whose owner completely misses his check-ups. the end result, oil which looked liked sticky mud, ruined pistons and valves. the shop totally had to overhaul the engine. :thumbsdownsmiley:

    first, since you have two employers, you are required to file an income tax return. normally kasi, if an employee is earning purely compensation income from only one employer, he is not required to file an itr as long as you have a copy of your bir form 2316 signed by your employer.

     

    second, your primary employer is the one giving you the higher pay, of course. he is also responsible for pay for your sss.

     

    third, now to prepare your itr, you must add income earned from both employers, compute the tax and deduct the taxes withheld by both of your employers. since you have two salaries, chances are you will move up to the next tax bracket and will pay additional taxes. bad news.

     

    would that mean i should file in form 1700? Thanks! :thumbsupsmiley:

    Am currently employed by 2 employers. Am an employed physician by the way and since I cant finance my own clinic yet (since I just started practice) am employed by one company as their company physician whilst my other employer is a good friend who owns a diagnostic center and got me to handle his clinic and am paid by the day. Nevermind asking how i manage the sched :-) If they both file my itr, who's my primary employer and who's the secondary (anyway is this possible) Secondly, who shoulders my sss? Thank You! Your immediate thoughts on this is greatly appreciated! :cool:

    Just a question. Was able to watch something at abc 5 and they were talking about credit cards. They had a guest there who was from bsp and had mentioned a lot of useful tips. Anyway back to my question. The deliquent accounts (those who do not pay their debts) are being transferred to a collections agency and the ones heckling us to pay. As was told from the show they have 90 days to ask for collections from us via phone, text etc. what happens after this 90 day period of being unable to collect from us. what do the card companies do after that? Do they file cases in court or just consider it a lost account and don't heckle us anymore? Thanks!! :thumbsupsmiley:

    Need help. My brother wanted to install/upgrade the current windows that we have however decided to cancel it. now whenever we boot up it prompts us to choose between the old windows and the setup for the windows that my borther wanted to upgrade to. How do I remove this so that whenever we boot up it will just go directly to the previous setuped windows. thanks.
