  1. retired na ba si E.J. Feihl? If ever, nasan na siya ngayon? Sayang yung taong yun. Sana yung tangkad niya napunta na lang kay Pingris hahaha.

EJ is preparing to join the Millenium Basketball League along with other ex-PBA players ....

  2. How about Leo Paguntalan, Pongkie Alolor, Mendoza (father of IC), Ompong Segura, and the original enforcer Vic Sanchez (the favorite of the late Joe Cantada)???

OMPONG SEGURA is one the coaches of MILO BEST ....

  3. well, opinion ko lang rin na para maniwala ako na cooked nga ung mga series, eh may proof na ipapakita.

oh well, i'm not going deep into this. enjoy na lang ako manood ng game, kahit yung iba alam na ung results...

Don't get me wrong hoopburners ... i'm as much as a basketball fan like you ... but i just don't like the way things are being ran in the country's premiere hoops league (not that i know better) ... i hate that these people believe that pinoys are that dumb to believe the crap that they're trying to sell us ... and the tragedy is a lot of us do ....

  4. yes we do our math..

but have you given any proof that the 5 series are really been cooked? you do your investigation first.

Investigation? Don't need to go that far ... I'm only expressing my opinion ... in a country where the perpetrators of the ZTE scam, fertilizer scam, and boob jobs go away scot-free, do you think any investigation of this nature would even see the light? The PBA is not a public entity. It has the right to do what it wants not unlike the WWE. It's entertainment and obviously you, me and every tom, dick and harry in this hoop crazed nation loves every bit of action it offers ... but to believe that all of this is pure is like saying that there's no corruption in this country. You believe what you want to believe hoopburners ... but sorry we have different views on this one ...

  5. @robin

as I heard, Santos is already no contract with the Burgers and he didnt want to sign an extension to them so what Burger did instead of getting nothing in return since Santos declared that he wants to join SMB, they just did a SIGN and Trade option.. ull never know wat those bench warmer can do if they given play time.. dapt nga si Dorian P. na ang binigay eh kesa si Samigue..

As far as I know eh walang unrestricted sa PBA ... check the official rulebook ... a team retains the right to a player whose contract has expired ... BK could have haggled for a better deal .. pero it seems some teams develop players and sells them afterwards to teams with bigger budgets ... look at the exodus out of Barako Bull .... Villanueva, Fonacier, Miller, Baguio, etc. were virtually given away in exchange for players of much lesser caliber ...

Players cannot just declare that they want to play for a certain team and get what they want ... what if the whole Smart National Team declares they want to play for Talk N' Text? Will all the other teams agree to get bench warmers in return? It's right that "ull never know wat those bench warmer can do if they given play time" pero Santos is the sure thing ... he's proven player and a candidate for league MVP ...

With regards to the 5 straight Final series to go to a 7th game ... more games mean more money ... a jam packed Araneta Coliseum nets the league millions in terms of revenues ... this is where they get the player salaries ... you do the math ...

  6. I'm not going to argue with you guys ... I respect your views ...

But I just couldn't understand a team trading its FRANCHISE PLAYER for 3 BENCH WARMERS ....

Only in the PBA I guess ...

  7. Sad to be a KJ pero LOKOHAN na ang PBA! Parang WWE na! Scripted na masyado! Imagine 5 straight series that went 7 games? I'm a fan of SMB pero this is turning to be an SMB league with Arwind Santos's transfer.

I hate the state that the league has gone to. LOKOHAN NA TALAGA!

  8. I recently purchased a Vios and I should say that it's a great buy. Great looks, great drive, nice looking interiors (especially the front panel), and most of all, for its fuel efficiency. Mine checks in at 8.5 kms. to a liter, which is fine with me. My old Revo guzzles up at 5:1.

  9. Pacquiao-Dela Hoya is purely for monetary reasons. At his age, Pacman's looking to milk the cow so to speak and prepare for a life fit for royalty. That is, if he doesn't throw away his fortune on gambling. Consider that there are a lot of possible opponents in his class like Joel Casamayor, Nate Campbell, Edwin Valero, Michael Katsidis & Joan Guzman. Yet these fighters won't get him the same amount of money he will get from fighting the likes of Dela Hoya, Ricky Hatton and quite possibly, Paul Malignaggi.

Manny Pacquiao is the best boxer ever from the Philippines period! I know that many Flash Elorde fans will k*ll me for this but Manny has taken on the best and has beaten them all.

  10. First Team :

    C - Wilt Chamberlain

Dominating the game as few players in any sport ever have, he seemed capable of scoring and rebounding at will, despite the double- and triple-teams and constant fouling tactics that opposing teams used to try to shut him down.

    PF - Karl Malone

He is arguably the greatest power forward of all time. Built more like a tight end than a basketball player, his size and strength made him difficult to defend in the low block, but he also filled the lane on the fast break and shot a deadly medium-range jumper. The two-time MVP finished his career with 36, 928 points second only behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

    SF - Larry Bird

He was the embodiment of "Celtics Pride." He was a classy, confident, hardworking player who thrived on pressure and inspired teammates to excel.

    SG- Michael Jordan

By acclamation, he is the greatest basketball player of all time. Although, a summary of his basketball career and influence on the game inevitably fails to do it justice, as a phenomenal athlete with a unique combination of grace, speed, power, artistry, improvisational ability and an unquenchable competitive desire, Jordan single-handedly redefined the NBA superstar.

    PG - Magic Johnson

From the moment he stepped onto the court, people pondered: How could a man so big do so many things with the ball and with his body? It was Magic.

    Second Team:

    C- Bill Russell

    PF - Tim Duncan

    SF - Julius Erving

    SG - Oscar Robertson

    PG - Bob Cousy
