Mang Inasal, Pixies and Chickboy probably any establishments that offer unlimited servings of rice and soup.

Tried out their buffet last night their Peking Duck is good, lots of choices in their Japanese section, dessert section lots of choices, my only complain is their lack of soup bowls in the buffet area and their limited quantity of shrimp tempura served.
Got it! Nice review, I'll try it out.

Love has taught me to be very patient lately.

It does matter, its awkward to see a girl bending down just to kiss his guy. There are 31,097,203 Females in the Philippines, I will feel bad if you don't get your match.

Love Rocky Road here...
My wife had a funny story with her friend. They went to DQ Eastwood branch had a bet with the manager if the upside down ice cream falls they will replace it with a new one, na exhaust na nila all possiblities para matapon yung ice cream pero they failed. They squeezed the cup, talon, taktak, binawasan pa nila but unfortunately they both failed, and both of them were laughing all the way home. Nag babalak pa ata ng revenge. Told them have you tried poking a hole at the bottom of the cup, napaisip sila and grinned...

My mom would usually take me to Pancit Malabon Branches to eat, the name "Pancit" may be deceiving but they indeed serve tasty Kare Kare dish. The most recent one I had was located just beside Quiapo Plaza Miranda Branch, facing the pharmacy its located on the left side.

BPI treats all its customers badly. They let all their customers stand in line and considering that they have a lot of customers, standing in line can take anywhere from 30 mins to more than an hour. Why don't they adapt the system of other banks wherein customers are given a number as soon as they enter. While there is still the wait, one is at least seated and could pass the time away reading a newspaper for example.
Metrobank. Even if you deposit an in-house check it will take at least 3 days for the check to clear. In other banks, in-house checks are like cash deposits, you can withdraw the cash as soon as you present the check in any branch.
I agree with that, though this is a different scenaryo. My cousin had her account closed, nagamit nya ng sagad yung money nya sa account which led to the closing of her account. May darating dapat sya remittance from abroad, nung chineck nya yung atm, closed na, its natural na ma close yung account. So, I told her na kausapin yung BPI if ever pwedeng buksan uli yung account, sayang naman yung account, pati maganda yung previous record nya sa account, nagkataon lang na gipit lang talaga. Next day punta sya sa BPI then kinausap nya yung "Heavy Built na Lady"sa accounts ang sabi ba naman sa kanya, "3000 para iopen uli yan account, kasi naman, ginagawa nyo kaming sari sari store", sarcastic ang pagkaka deliver, napahiya tuloy yung cousin ko in front ng maraming tao, my cousin's personality was a quiet-shy one, so she just let it pass, recently lang nya naikwento. I told her, if that happens again, I would defintely file a complain.
Personally, I have no angst against BPI branches, I just hope they work on customer service more seriously, it will be their lost eventually.
Branch:
BPI Branch Mayon / Near Mercury Drugs.

A supposed-to-be-a-quick-meal at KFC Robinsons Place Manila, took an hour or so for the so-called "Fast Food Service". Half an hour waiting for my turn, and half an hour waiting for my Rice. My wife had the same experience at the said branch.

The original cook of Jonas(late 80's to early 90's) whom I always call "nognog" got married in the province & the owner gave him a generous amount for his loyalty as he was a big part of their success that time. The cook you could be referring to is probably the cook during the late 90's early 2k. The quality of their slice beef had deteriorated & some of the foods they used to serve when they expanded were pulled out. I still go to Jonas for old time sake once in awhile. Their fried rice & siomai is very delicious & they now provide chili sauce, but I have gotten used to their hot sauce already, a hard habit to break.
They have another branch in Robinsons Pioneer in fron of KFC. I know this facts because the owner is like my tita(not blood related) her name is lollie. :upside:
I also miss good ol' Buluagang Pilipino
awh... thanks for the info...

may jonas na sa ali mall.from the original in mayon.I live here in Retiro Mayon, just near "Jonas" 2 blocks away, the story behind it as I heard it was "the cook and owner of Jonas had a fight, making the cook establish his own pares outlet, which is now located along retiro area" Not sure about this pero, I really miss the old "Jonas", nagpalit na din sila ng Market preference, kaya nag mahal.

According to my Dear Wife:
"I prefer personality and character, person of substance, most of them are true people."

Emotionally yes,
She got me first, i returned the favor three-folds.
It didn't felt right, I guess I have to polish her senses that men have pain receptors as well.

Her half asleep eyes coupled with her morning hairdo and her yawning smile...

Intuitions... especially with girls. Try conversing with your someone and try to talk it over calmly.

It just proves that there are still "some" non-idealistic "WOMEN", who prefer, real companions than walking tropies as thier "MAN".
Proud ako sa mga babaeng ganito, though it varies sa intentions nila... hoping its not financial stability or fame for that matter.

The ungrateful girl stays here inside me... She will never leave, she will rot inside me, i will learn to hate her to forget her...

Tears to Wash You Away
by Tara
Endless tears drop down my face,
One for each memory I can't erase.
I close my eyes to search for some relief,
But all I see is you, and all I feel is grief.
Should your memory leave, or should it stay?
Would it be better if it just washed away?
But I know it won't, I can't let you go,
These things I feel inside are things you'll never know.
So I'll let them come down, these tears every day,
But I won't let them wash your memory away.
Filipino Habit That You Hate
in Culture and Living
Posted
There are a couple of things I hate.
1. Social Classes / Caste System (Stereotyping)
2. Breaking down bloodline, half chinese, 1/4 Japanese or Spanish... We are FILIPINOS PERIOD!
I despise this, all else are manageable.
