Stop Light at DAU?????
where is that?????
that was pre LOPEZ NLEX when there was a Stop Light at Dau Interchange
Yup. that was way back year 2000. We even timed our trip to baguio then.
Balintawak to Baguio (via kennon;5AM Sunday) : 4.5Hrs (with one stop over around 15mins.)
Baguio to Balintawak (same day; 7PM) : 3.5Hrs (with one 15min stop over)
I was using the same car.

para matipid haluan mo ng .50 liter na kerosene ang every 2liters na gasoline mo. sigurado matipid at safe pa makina ninyo.
I don't think it is a good idea since kerosene melts rubber parts in your carburetor (o-rings and seals). This practice is being done on deisel engines only to add more power on steep climbs. Injection pumps for deisel engines has less rubber parts.

anong oras mo ito nagawa?
I regularly drive the whole stretch of NLEX (parents house is in Tarlac, while I live in Muntinlupa)
you can only achieved that top speed once you passed the Shell Station before Tabang and you can not maintained that for so long
It's a saturday night. around 10pm. going back to Manila coming from a friend in Dau. At that time, there is another car (a sentra ex-saloon) that raced against us. From the stop light at Dau its one hell of a ride.

Timing Belt Vs Timing Chain Vs Timing Gear

I have an L-300 diesel. It has two belts inside the cover. The timing belt and the balancer belt. Mas manipis nga lang yung balancer belt. Kung sabay mo ito pinapalitan, it is always the balancer belt that gives away. Magbabago takbo at maingay makina. You can still drive it to an auto shop. It happened to me once. Galing talaga ng mitsu; bigyan ka muna warning. Basta palit ka between 60k to 80k kms. para safe. When that happened to me, more than 100k kms na tinakbo nung belt. I learned my lesson.
