  2. i like both for their specialties, since i was a kid, eating in Aristocrat in Roxas Blvd. would always be a treat for us, grew up loving the combo of bbq chicken, java rice with potato salad on the side.

i was introduced to Max when i was in my teens, 1 whole spring chicken and rice (several cups ;) ) plus banana catsup mixed with worcestershire sauce and a dash of hot sauce will surely fill me up for the next two meals.

so the rule is, when we are in the vicinity of Roxas Blvd, its always Aristocrat, while if we are in the Scout Area its Max for sure.

Another family fave is Barrio Fiesta, but thats for another thread.....

  3. malapit lang ito! will give it a try one of these days.

    FINIO

Tomas Morato Corner Lascano Street Quezon City Metro Manila

Tomas Morato towards the Jamboree circle, Finio will be at the right side of the road just after the corner of Starbucks

    Foods suggested:

Crab & Mango Salad (kani crabsticks and freshly sliced sweet mangoes on a bed of green lettuce dressed in aioli and mango syrup)

    Boneless Crispy Pata

    Pancit Finio

    more

  4. I'm not all that familiar with the street names too but I am very familiar with the location of IBP (Ihaw, Balot Plaza) since I always buy my sashimi/sushi (to bring to my fave ktv hangout) very near the area.

Unfortunately, I have yet to try IBP. (but i will have to soon)

ibp...mura beer at pulutan.....paborito namin ng mga barkada dito is...inihaw na pusit, sizzling bulalo, pritong tawilis, deep fried na tunal tail. habang naghihintay order muna cashew nuts o hilaw na mangga kay nanay....

this place is definitely an inuman and pulutan place!

i think this is still sct. borromeo, harap ng carlings (kambingan).
