Ive this problem with my pc for a long time now in that it sometimes doesn’t start up and is stuck with just the cpu turning on and has no display on the monitor.ive checked inside and the motherboard had E0 or EO in it. I have brought it to some repairs in computer shops but they could not find a solution except to clean it. I brought it there three times now and the first time i got it repaird it instantly turned on - the second is that they cleaned it and it turned on - next one they couldnt find a solution but when i came home and turned it on it worked. It’s a very inconsistent problem so i surmised that the cables inside the cpu are loose but i am not truly sure what is wrong with it. Any comments or tips that can help me? Thanks

I have an old Acer Extensa 6600 series laptop that's always on 24/7. Laging naka-download ng torrent at seeding.

Ideally, you should always make sure that your computer is turned off every now and then just to have it rest, or refresh everything. Ang downside lang naman ng laging naka-bukas ang computer eh iikli ang buhay ng computer.(life span)

My modem and router is always on, though my modem was changed recently because of a fried circuit two months ago after that freak thunderstorm. Pero bago palitan, bukas un for 1 year na....

only the private trackers keep track of your seed ratio. Public trackers do not.

That is true. One example of a private tracker is from demonoid... They keep track of size of all downloaded and uploaded file.

Of course, this does not keep other person's from downloading and never seeding.

Was using globe 2 years ago and the service is terrible! Long down-times, and they are using double Nat-ting.

Not to mention their after sales customer service.

Switched to PLDT, and never had a problem with the connection.

If its a free anti-virus, I'd say use Avast Home Edition. Been using it for 2 years now, and so far no virus intrusions, unless I install them myself!

For paid one's I'd say go with Kaspersky.

For business, I still prefer Sophos!

Before, I am thinking of getting a condo unit... But I have thought it over and decided that I will just get a house and lot...

Think of the facts : With a Condo, you only get rights to the unit. If the building gets demolished/condemned or if the building collapsed because of an earthquake, then your investment on the unit is also lost. You only have rights to the unit and not on the land that the building was built on. Also, the value of a building depreciates over time. Another thing to consider is room for expansion... With a condo unit, you have no room for any major expansion.

Now, with a house and lot... It might be more expensive than a condo unit to start with, but it pays to invest in one. My main reason why this is the best investment for my money? One, the price of land appreciates yearly...as time goes by and a piece of land is hard to come by with, owning a lot will be a luxury. Second, if you buy a land and house from a respected land developer, let's say AyalaLand, then security is not a question as all residencies developed by Ayala has good security. Also, with a land and house, there are a lot of rooms for improvements and expansions. And it feels more safe... Also, even if your house collapsed due to earthquake, you can build another one since you own the land where your house was built on.

So for me, the best investment, not only for my money but for the future and security of my family will still be a House and Lot... That's Hands Down!!!

Sirs, Question lang po...

A friend of mine is troubled. She loaned money from ChinaTrust, duration is 24 months. I think the total loaned money is around 36k. She was able to pay for the first installment, now a situation happened that led her to miss about 4 months up to now. Let's just say, she just gave birth last Nov and had not been reporting for work until Feb.

The problem is, she received a text message from someone claiming that she was from the bank and asking to settle a specified amount or they will be forced to forward her account to a law firm or their lawyer for legal actions. I advised her to call the number and ask if she could make payment arrangement to pay for the overdue installments by Feb since that's the time she will be reporting back to work. They declined the arrangement and is asking her to pay about only 5k before 25 this month, even after explaining the situation.

My question is, if it would result to legal proceedings what's the worse that could happen? Take note that my friend did not intentionally/maliciously opted not to pay her debt, its just because of the current situation that she is unable to do so. Does this constitute to imprisonment, since I believe that this would be against the constitution.

Seems that I'm a little bit lucky when it comes to their internet connection.

I have, what you could call an internet line only. No land line, just pure internet connection with Globelines.

Had recently needed to move to a new house, and made the necessary request with their csr at the Globlines Business Center. Been told it's going to take around 3-5 business days to process... what's surprising is, they moved my line after 2 days. after that, everything's been working fine... hadn't had any major problem what-so-ever...

contented as off the moment... will be waiting if they'll fail my expectations in the future... :evil:

yes... though, i really didn't intend to do so...

they were my friend. 2 girls whom are close to me. I treated them like a younger sister, being sweet, caring and loving. It was clear from the start that we were just friends and they know that my treatment towards them are nothing special.
