for me Australian rugby...unlike American football/rugby, the Aussies only wear t-shirt and shorts....they tackle each other...what is nice about this sport is that nobody is really taking the pounding personally...yes, there would be blood or broken bones....but there's no riot...Aussies are very discplined lot!

never...pero alam niyo yung mga honors namin...cheaters...they really did "work" for their grades....
funny thing is that I thought maka-karma sila...it turns out that they are all successful professionals now...ako mahirap pa rin

worst school....maybe CHED and DepED...kasi they don't know what quality education is...imagine they don't close schools which produces mediocre graduates....
Imagine also CHED gives some colleges and university autonomous status kasi quality schools daw...really...how can that be...when the qualifications of the faculty and facilities of the schools are really low...

excellent observation. when dealing with small numbers, percentages hardly matter. just this: UP is not long into ECE compared with most other schools. but its passing rate has always been among the highest.
UP is UP

calling all ateneans...please answer...mayroon ba kayong ECE degree course...or any engineering course that has a board exam...
based on my personal knowledge, I think there is no engineering course (with board examination) in ADMU

I dont know whether this is the right thread...but hey, why did the government scrap the teaching of the Spanish language...just look around you...the world is getting smaller...it is now an advantage to be multi-lingual...kung tinuloy ang Spanish and, not to mention, na strengthen pa then we Filipinos would be more competitive now...we would have been a nation of Filipino, English and Spanish speakers!
In the European countries, it is a must for them to learn another language...tayo...English na lang daw...tapos ginawa pang bilingual ang instructions...lalong nasira ang english learning in the country...

yeah go for a postgraduate degree...competition is tough these days...no offense though, I suggest that you study your postgraduate degree in a respectable institution in the country...better yet, get a scholarship and study abroad...again in a respectable institution.

modesty aside, i never cheated in my exams from grade school and college...sa graduate school - yes, pero one time lang...kasi everybody was doing it at wala rin akong masagot...
I really don't know whether i did the right thing...coz I am still poor....while those who cheated became honor students and rich now...I always thought kasi that karma will haunt them...but in this case...I think...karma haunted more

Financial management...i got the lowest score (20%) in the midterms...the prof even suggested that I drop the course but I hanged on got a decent score in the finals...I passed the course...got a satisfactory grade

college! High school di masaya kasi di ako pogi at no tengo dinero so I was not able to join gimmicks
Sa college, I miss the lectures and the "intellectual" pursuits
Pero di best siguro ang graduate studies (MBA) because I now have the money to join gimmicks

was able to watch the following oscar nominated movies:
slumdog millionaire (not really a great movie...sorry I think its a little bit over-rated...Brocka films are superbly better if one is looking for movies about poverty...Insiang was great, Maynila sa Kuko ng liwanag was also good...i mean if slumdog wins the oscars...then we can say that we have better movies here in Manila).
Milk (its a good biography movie...Sean Penn is great!)
Doubt (am wondering why this movie was not nominated for best picture...anyway, this movie is your "acting movie"...lahat magagaling....haven't watched The Reader, but Meryl Streep is good here...Viola Davis, only 5 mins in this movie, should be best supporting actress...ang galing galing)
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (a "fantasy" movie like slumdog...this will get my vote for best picture...its an entertaining movie! sa slumdog kasi...nakita ko na iyun...poverty, slums, etc.)
