  1. 5 on 5, no I in team, Raptors do have "KawhI plus 4. Dubs may have some trouble, I said may. Clipper series showed that, but after the likes of Houston and Portland, GSW going to brand, We the West, We the Champs....finally We the Best

  2. Playing for awhile without a true 5. Yes Looney plays the 5, but in normal offensive schemes of GSW of off the ball movement, assist, here, there, he doesn't play "BIG". You don't see the alley oops, the post down low kick out to the spaced out wings, etc. We be talking a little bit differently if D. Jones didn't get injured, most of all his points are in the paint. Now if GSW still have all the woes they do now with Boogie in the lineup we might as well concede the playoffs. They have the championship mentality....its getting to the real season.....which starts in April for them, for now every NBA team amps up when they play, hey their the "champs".

The West is still wide open, Sir Charles "guarantees" that Denver will be in the WCF, Anything at anytime could happen, look at the Lakers, with the King they play awesome, without him, they play like the "Lakers". Injuries can decimate any team. Stay healthy DUBs you got this!

  3. Plenty of "humble pie" on this roster. In order to win, I can't do it by myself, so let's do what needs to be done, to keep this ride going.

Sometimes its not about the money......let's just win!

    SC, KD, Klay, Dray

    Shaun, Iggy, DWest

    Who next?

  4. "Showtime" as they called it of course wants to make a return to Hollywood. The market it there demands it. Years of having a dominant team...ala Kobe Bryant plus any four was one nice ride. Followed by two of "let's not even talk about it now" seasons.

So they get Lavar. I know its LONZO, haha, its just that the "prophet" predicts the Lakers are going all the way to the playoffs this year. I'll just call him Magic's "Boy", I say that teasingly because of course Magic wants to win now.

Here lies the problem....the Lakers have to improve so much in a heavily talented Western conference. A conference that to me is the toughest to be in day in, day out. The season is one tough 82 game schedule.

Basketball will always be a team sport where it takes 5, plus a bench with depth to boot. The "other" teams are not just going to start crumbling and leaning to the wayside because of one jump start rookie who can make his teammates better philosophy.

Everyone earns their keep in the NBA, let's see how the "ball" bounces for the Lakers....

  5. I'm loving all the input, it still comes down to the "will to win", everyone likes "hating" on the Warriors because all that has come to fruition on their behalf. Nobody can take away all the talent, and we have to admit they are "talented", then coached, because it takes a strong coach to keep all egos in check. Put it all together the dubs played as a team, and there is no "I" in team. They play team ball from starting five on through all their rotations, that's why everything seems so easy.

Cavs, they have the "king", but he yells "timeout", Lue calls timeout. He getting gassed from all his minutes, I'm staying in because the offense flows through me. 4th qtr...i don't care....

Kobe did a diss on the crowns, Lebron and Kyrie, its on youtube. He did a masterful job on why the Cavs lost. 2 or 3 crowns will not beat a Chef "steph", Cupcake "KD", Dunk King "Klay", this is a pun now, DPOY "Draymond", Mr.5 (Zaza, Javale, David) or anyone else they play the 5.

Back when Lebron headed to South Beach....his famous words, "Not one, Not two, Not three........, as the 2017 Finals approached..... a JUGGERNAUT out there in the West.....He was right...LOL

  6. So now road games in Utah, Jazz role players and reserves both going to take it up a notch and play way better for games 3 and 4. I'm sure GSW doesn't take it wire to wire, but pretty sure they'll get the W. Double figures with any of the Dubs big four...will equally cancel out anything big Iso Joe, G Hayward or G Hill are going to come up with.

  7. Okay so Dame thought him and the rest of RIP CITY would shock the world and beat my Dubs. Well now its R. I. P. for the city of Portland.. Its got to be flooding there now with all the people crying... haha. All because Dame said they were the underdogs to beat GSW. That's how the brash talk with their mouth and not their head. Stay humble, young Lillard, ...you are in the toughest conference with the toughest teams to be in. SPURS/THUNDER/ROCKETS... did i mention WARRIORS.

Bball is and will always be a team sport...5 on 5. You can have 2 or even 3 great players, but it still takes 5. I don't necessarily mean on the floor at the same time too, because eventually everyone needs rest. Yes a 6th man is a plus, but adding that one and another 2 or 3 is unconcious. McGee at the 5, Igoudala and his much improved offense compared to last year. West/Clark/McCaw holding par with Livingston/Barnes out of the rotation. As Bruno Mars...sings it

    "That's what I like, that's what I like"

On to the Clippers or the Jazz, which at the least goes 6, either team prevails from this series, Dubs basically have to play the poorest defense and shoot a very low percentage to give the series away. Think so? Very highly unlikely since at the professional level, guys may have one or two bad games but not seven.

Next series at best 4-2, but that's just saying, but more then likely 4-1 for sure.

  8. Last night's blow out...

Javale McGee at the 5 brings a very different offensive scheme to GSW, start WORRYING! Even if its only for about 5 minutes a quarter...lol!

Draymond's defensive mindset is bar none.... d best! Dame Lillard hasn't figured out yet, no dunks....try a floater....haha!

Lastly no Durant...rest him for the series...Steve.

  9. Friend of mine is on round number 2, with his so called "relationship", PSP, model gf. Like they say, love is not blind, it just refuses to see. His pockets got emptied before and I'm sure the same will happen again. In our group we all can plainly see what's going to take place and advise him so, does he even care, to him its LOVE??? Well, we did our part.
