  1. My job: HR Professional based in the USA

    Salary : US$ 45,000 per year

PROs: I live the American dream (or trying to live it). I have branded clothes, nice gadgets, cool car, great neighborhood

CONs: I earn dollars and SPEND dollars too. Housing is expensive here, plus you have to spend for the car, credit cards, etc.

The American Dream can sometimes be a nightmare. So those out there thinking that America is paved with gold, think twice.

    PS.

    CON: Mahal ang babae dito.

  2. I've tried Tiger. Parang Viagra/Cialis yan. Actually yan ang example yata ng herbal Viagra. Side effects is nausea kung take ka ng walang laman ang tiyan. So take it after eating. Don't take with alcohol. Because the pill has similar effects with Viagra/Cialis di siya puede sa may sakit sa puso or hypertension.

Is anyone selling this now. I'm residing in the States already but will be there next week for a business trip. Ewan ko kung ang suki ko sa Mega Mall ay meron pa. Anyone selling?

  3. No matter how big your salary and bonuses is, its basically 30-35% less after taxes! The problem here in the Philippines is not the salary or benefits we get, its the expenses we have to incur to live which are usually too high. Healthcare nalang is so expensive. You dont even factor in your expenses for your gimiks!

Agree, I'm earning 42K here in San Francisco and I get to buy a lot more vs when I was working in Manila. Hell, I'm planning of switching cars next month . Kahit used na BMW kaya ko makuha. Eh sa Pilipinas , people are happy they could get a Honda or Mazda. It's the cost of living that's killing us over there.

  4. I watched 300 last month. I enjoyed the movie because I'm a history fanatic but I don't appreciate the use of too much technology. The CG was too obvious and it lessened the realism. There were flaws too on telling the historical facts. I like the older version of 300 Spartans. In fact its in my Netflix queue already. Along with "Ben HUr" and "The Robe"

  5. PLDT Dasal Sa Langit kung ma-connect ka. I just hope they improve their service. We just had it installed in our house so I can chat with my family but it takes forever to connect. Mabuti pa dito sa USA, there are very good ISP providers using cables like COMCAST. Galing! May Cable TV ka na and internet connection pa. PLDT should learn to use better technology, kung hindi maiiwanan ang Phils.

  6. Hey guys, just bought the CD "Can't Get Enough Of the 80's" . It has the major hits of the 80's. Get your copy now. You'll enjoy listening to David Bowie, INXS, Billy Idol, Duran Duran , Industry and Tears for Fears among others. Have been playing it since Saturday. Now I have a good compilation. I used to have 5-6 tapes of songs from the 80's. Some got lost, others erased by accident. At least I have a CD now!

  7. Sentinel,

It really depends on your business. If you're working for a multinational, they might be flexible or liberal about tatoos. In fact in other countries, they accept it as part of culture (in PNG, Australia, Hawaii, Guam). Personally, a tatoo is a distinctive personal mark, to show taste, affinity or distinction, it should not be taken against you. Of course if the tatoo says "Batang City Jail, Forever!" hindi na yata acceptable yun.
