  1. Yes, it's the software that I'm selling ...

The 3/4-digit numbers are availed by companies through a binding contract of guaranteed minimum no. of textes sent/received per month via the telcos.

It's really a matter of what the company plans to do with the application.  It comes w/ a GSM modem ... the company would just need to supply it w/ a SIM (can be pre/post-paid).

This allows for push and pull of the company's products and services.

Confidentiality of the company's clients via their DB of mobile numbers need not be shared ... privacy is the thing here.

I think i have a good idea of what you're selling, sort of something like COMZGATE and another one created by some Filipino Group... which is all very interesting. I really hope you get to be successful in selling it dude, peace and keep well.

    You can try the following:

Entertainment Gateway Group - They are a Content Provider, but not all can afford their service or rev-share scheme; you may wanna try asking for their small accounts list. I can't put names here so you have to feel your way thru to get an appointment with their GM or NPD chief, direct line is *-*-*-*-*-*-*. The goal is to get their small accounts and not their major aaccounts.

You can do the same for Information Gateway Group (IG), Wireless Services Asia (WSA), Tincan and many others --- All of the major CP's have their offices in Makati, you can prolly cover all of them in 3 days, at the end of the day you'll have all the SME accounts you can possiblu approach for a year. Suggestion ko lang.

Mod Note: Posting of contact number is stricly prohibited. Please use your pm functions.

  2. Hello to the Entrepreneurs here! ;-)

Not exactly the appropriate thread ... who knows. ;-P

Should you have a need for an SMS/text-based application software or know of someone/companies interested in such, I am just a PM away. ;-) I am an independent reseller for the product ... we can work on some kind of referral fee (on a closed sale). ;-P

Hey, we don't know everyone ... this is where the 6th degree of separation comes into play ... ;-)

I don't quite get it. Are you selling the sender application (gateway)? or are you offering a mobile application development service?

If it's a gateway ur selling, what's the TPS? Most companies will require vanity numbers to push their promo, otherwise its just gonna be your regular messaging platform (one to many) and there's already a friendster mobile service running under 227 and 2276 which can cover most of these messaging scenarios :-/... furthermore there are lots of acces numbers that are open to the public for use: ex. 2333 for globe and 211 for smart, all you need is hook up a processing URL to load and provision your app. :P

I'm plugging all this information here just to inform everybody here how easy it is nowadays to create your personal messaging service. FIrst half of 2006, http://www.txtdomain.com will be launched, anybody can register and create their own mobile service, and this isnt limited to SMS alone, this will include MMS services, as well as GPRS, UDH, CSDR and other services as long as the telco's here dont fu*kup on their 3G roll-out. NTC has already granted 3G LIC's to smart, globe, digitel(sun), broadband phil, and one more new player.

Hope some of you will find this information usefull. The site is already live, but it is still under development and under wraps, expect a lot of bugs.

  3. And no im not a broker. I do however play both ends ---

i trade --- pick certain bets and repare for the worst, i have psyched myself that if i lose cause i didnt exit so quickly... dapat ok lang sa akin yun. :(

i sell --- i'm a spin doctor, i make FS's, Business Plans a company's image - look good in paper, and sell them off to bigger companies. I make it a point to become deeply involved with companies i sell, that's how i earn my k*ll.

    more tips:

    Basic:

read on holding companies playing locally. Know who's who. Know who's selling. Know who's buying. Check their location, ask around, ask how they treat their people (talk to the HR and then talk to the clerks). Research them on the internet, check out who their investing partners are, check the partners background. Hire a private eye and check where they live, find out their family back ground.

    Routinary:

Once you get the basics. Check out their trading history, how long they are listed, what they buy, what they sell. Read the local papers, read the business section, read the editorial, go to congress and check out what is being lobbyied. In other words, get deep into the industry as deep as possible.

    Advance:

check the weather, political and environmental. Is there a WAR out there you think and feel that will be factored in? Is someone high profile being accused of rape? sh*t like that. Sell high, buy low.

    Other tips:

Trading isnt your life. Don't do trading full time, just have fun and take it easy, enjoy when you win pero dapat when you lose okay lang, that's how it is played. That's why you need some distractions like a full time job or a business ... this will keep you balanced and in check.

Take it easy dudes, if you guys have some other tips, please share din, im 2*** and i have tons to learn pa. As of the moment im trading internationally, im betting on CP's and CA's. like i said, locally i have my sites on mining.

  4. you guys want a tip right?

mining industry looks hot, till next 10 -15 years or so. IMO only.

If your seriouse about trading. Look for trading houses, ask for resumes and get your broker. trading houses that can not produce resumes are just lucky, believe me trading takes skills, and when it's your money that is involved you don't want luck.

List the things or industry you want your money to be traded with, your broker should be able to help you out on this ... if you detect that your broker is inept, change him.

It's very important that you read on a lot of stuff. lots and lots of stuff. this is important so you can forecast certain things. keep these 2 words in mind "fear and greed". and with that i leave you guys to your thoughts.

  5. what 's the name of your site? I was wondering how you were able to get paid on your online business. I used to have an website but unfortunately , accepting credit cards from customers bacame my number 1 problem.

you'll need a payment gateway and a merchant account. If you expect very big volume of transactions, you'll need a clearing house partner. This is if you are really seriouse in putting up your own E-Com website. Now if you wanna do it the way your NZ friend did it ... you may wanna try e-bay first.

Here's something for you to think about however, an e-com site can only become successfull if you've figured out your delivery model. In NZ's case, her market is newzealand, she orders her stuff from somewhere and sells it there in NZ. Now if she wants to sell someplace else apart from Newzealnd, she'll have problems... unless she figured this out already.

In your case however, who's your market? dito sa Pilipinas? If i buy something from you, how will you deliver it? These are some questions you need to think about before setting up an ecom site... so whatever your plans are it should be operationally feasible.

good luck sa efforts mo, wish u well.

  7. Metallica, Metallica, Metallica, Metallica, Metallica, and Metallica

... only metal band na naiintindihan ko pa kahit papano yung lyrics ... di ko kasi masydo trip yung death, satanic, and none-sense profanity. IMO lang, no flame please, thanks.

  8. I guess just like every bodyelse, the famicom did me in. I don't have much time playing games anymore, which is why I now only play games which i believe is worth my time and effort ... playing games for me is an addiction im not about to let go.

Maybe veteran gamers out there can relate, that because of these games influence on us, we see life from a perspective not readily visible to non-gamers --- that life is indeed a game; where there are stages, set objectives and an ultimate goal. Games have taught me to work smart instead of working hard, make careful, precise decisions, and to influence and make predicatably designed results.
