Am thinking of getting a Yamaha YAS23 next month with a Otto Link hard rubber mouthpiece. To get back to learning sax after eight years off. Naaliw sa reggae and ska. hehe.

 

Might enroll in UP Extension program again by mid June.

Having a formal education as what you are planning is a good idea. I took my sax lessons from the Yamaha School of Music. Incidentally, I do not think a YAS 23 is fitted with an Otto Link mouthpiece. The original mouthpiece that goes with the YAS 23 is a Yamaha 4C.

I play the alto sax as a hobby.
