downloads are generally faster in vista, kahit browsing. mas maganda ang networking implementation ng vista pati bagong technology pag dating sa plumbing. expect firefox to improve in speed sa loading and downloading as well. but of course may partida sa IE. im sure theyll come out with an accelerator for firefox thatll take advantage of vistas new networking code.

vista sucks. our company downgraded most of our new laptops to XP due to problems and incompatibilities (apps and... GAMES!...). vista will be replaced sooner than expected by windows 7. but i think the new network usage generally makes downloading through vista a little faster. though still it's not worth it to make a hasty transition to vista. Firefox is better than IE if you want more secure browsing and downloads.

i'm using linux for programming. XP for games. vista sucks!

buyqube offers cheaper products compared to acer. if u can demand for the same length of warranty, it's much better to buy at buyqube. i personally prefer 3 years warranty just like my toshiba laptop.
