medyo mahirap talaga magpatakbo ng vista sa 512mb n memory...

i am now using an acer aspire notebook with an amd turion64 processor (also bought @ carrefour, doha)...

the original memory was 512mb and the unit was running on vista basic and the performance that time sucks...

i was considering the options of downgrading to xp but the problem is the availability of the compatible drivers...

i decided to upgrade the memory => i added a 1gb kingston memory (also boought in doha); so my unit is now running with a 1.5gb memory...

i think the performance of my notebook now is comparable to that running with centrino duo processorc + 1gb memory...

Dude, the last week i bought a 17 inch wide Neo laptop sa gilmore. 1 gig ram. dual core na ang engine. DVD multi write, plus all the perks of a modern gizmo. its only P27,000. Best buy for me.

a company Nurse will be terminated because according to management, they are streamlining / cost saving & redundancy daw. Now the catch is, new set of nurses ang dadating kaso "outsourced" lang, subcon kumbaga.... question is...... is this legal?

Follow up question lang about redundancy.........

Here's the scenario.....

merong nurses in manila and cebu......... due to redundancy daw tatanggalin na kami (wherein fact mag outsource sila ng nurses to replace us, so i guess wala pang redundancy), we learned na kami lang mga taga manila ang tatanggalin, yung nasa cebu eh hindi kasama.

Question... isnt this "unfair labor practice" tsaka nasaan ang security of tenure dito? Lahat kami ay regular employees.....

1. Separation from service due to redundancy is legal provided that the separated employee shall receive the equivalent of one month for every year of service. If you are the employer, make sure you do not hire for the position vacated, because then the separation would not have been due to redundancy.

 

2. The labor code provides for one month for every year of service but that is the minimum. The employer of course can give more than that, his choice.

1. Legal po ba na magtanggal ng regular employee just because of an impending redundancy?

2. Talaga po bang 1 month pay lang for every year of service ang compensation? Paano ito palalakihan?
