how about LIDO (the coffee place) and Maxims?

Fren, Lido Restaurant is still recommended in this thread.

Specialty are :

1. Cold cuts-- Roast pork or Asado, Lechon Kawali

2. Hot Chocolate or Brewed coffee

3. Freshly baked Pandesal with assorted combination like sardines, ground pork etc

4. Lido Rice-- one of the best rice toppings

For Maxim--I got no idea since I'm not goin their anymore
