  1. Went to Hotel Ava Malate yesterday (this was Angie King's side of the business. Assuming kanya ang south, Malate, Gil Puyat, Cuneta and Las Piñas magiging Hotel Ava and Pasig, Malabon, Balintawak and Pampanga will still be Victoria Court)

Under renovation pa sila and di nila accept yung black cards. The suite room na nakuha ko is priced at 1200 for 3 hours. Expected that this would increase when fully renovated.

(Siyempre ganito na naman nangyari sa Jacuzzi 😅)

Victoria Court Cuneta, Victoria Court Gil Puyat and Victoria Court Malate changed its name and branding to Ava Hotel.

Kaninong side ba? Kay Atticus ba ito or kay Angie?

  3. Yung Victoria Court Gil Puyat, Quirino at Cuneta yung room rate nila bago ECQ was 2000 for 12 Hours. And that was for any room. Kung makakita ka na available na theme room, go for it.

Kung mag GCQ na tayo ulit magtatanong ako if same ang setup.

This was last Feb 2020 at VC Quirino. Yung sa March post ko later.

  4.

thank you sir. how much room like this per 3 hours?

Depende din sa location (whether Pasig or Malate, etc.)

Suites cost 1800 to 2600. But if you have a black card, instant 20% discount

Yung mga mejo malaki na theme rooms nasa 3500 and up.

Varies from 3 hours or 5 hours ang minimum. Ask mo sa lobby nila.

  5. Ramen Kuroda is one of the places where you can have good ramen without sacrificing much of the price. As far as basic tonkotsu ramen, Ramen Nagi Butao is 390 Pesos, Mendoko Ramenba Shio Tonkotsu Ramen is 400 Pesos, Ramen Kuroda's Shiro Ramen is just 180 Pesos.

They actually have 4 kinds of Ramen

    Shiro Ramen (White)

    post-75948-0-75980900-1586796275_thumb.jpg

Shiro Chashumen (Essentially Shio Ramen with more pork)

    post-75948-0-85815100-1586796313_thumb.jpg

    Kuro Ramen (Black)

    Bari-Kara Ramen (Specialty Spicy Ramen)

    post-75948-0-51684700-1586796463_thumb.jpg

    Nikumiso Ramen (Miso based)

    post-75948-0-74459600-1586796479_thumb.jpg

You can order them as a set, just like this.

    post-75948-0-96599400-1586796553_thumb.jpg

  6. Then we have Mendokoro Ramenba (麺処ラーメン場, If you take the translation literally it means Noodle Place, Ramen Place).

As far as the soup base goes, they have the creamiest and tastiest tonkotsu broth (as in pinakamalasa)

I have ordered only two things here (three actually, but the third one is the upgraded version)

First I had their Shoyu Ramen (This has already your tonkotsu soup base)

    post-75948-0-39266100-1586794387_thumb.jpg

Then, I ordered their Tantanmen (This has already your tonkotsu soup base)

    post-75948-0-90275900-1586794406_thumb.jpg

Finally, I've had their specialty, the Super Chasu... Worth it but expensive at 560 Pesos

  7. Ok, here is something different 😁

This is something rarely offered in Japanese or Korean restaurants: The inarizushi or the yubuchobap. It is essentially sushi flavored rice wrapped in fried beancurd. And a restaurant called Yubunam serves it as its flagship dish (they call it yubu rice).

Yubunam has only one branch: in Venice Piazza Mall in McKinley Hill. It's a Korean Restaurant that serves Japanese and Korean Food. You can order ramen, udon, bibimbap or jjamppong for instance.

But the Yubu Rice is my favorite. You can order it plain or you can order it with toppings. The plain is like 65 pesos, the ones with toppings range from 80 to 85 pesos

Toppings maybe like tuna, kimchi bacon, bulgogi (beef) or spicy buldak (chicken)

I recommend this. I mean in the first quarter of the year 2020. I have eaten here 5 times already 😁

    잘 먹겠습니다

  8. Ramen Nagi, One of Japanese Ramen Chains that have branches in the Philippines.

They have their three offerings (which are also available in Japan or Singapore)

    Pork King (Butaō)

    post-75948-0-54963800-1586688930_thumb.jpg

    Red King (Akaō)

    post-75948-0-45973000-1586688952_thumb.jpg

    Green King (Midoriō)

    post-75948-0-04282700-1586688977_thumb.jpg

    Black King (Kuroō)

    post-75948-0-82250800-1586688992_thumb.jpg

Then they have a Limited King, various Ramen flavors served for half a month (like the Sausage King or the the Wild Curry Cheese King)

    post-75948-0-76358900-1586689044_thumb.jpg

There is also the Fisher King (Niboshiō) which is being served once a year when the owner Satoshi Ikuta (or maybe one of his staff) visits the Philippines every January

    post-75948-0-22447300-1586689071_thumb.jpg

That red stuff on the other ramen is just added spice. I usually add 4 or 5 level spice
