    so.reliable.po ba ung result ng rapid.test.since years na and sa clinika bernardo?

     

    I haven't tried rapid or over the counter tests kasi like what I've said madali lang magpa consult sa doctors and mas safe and reliable. Mas okay sa akin yung peace of mind of going to a medical practitioner and asking their professional advice kesa magbakasali sa ibang sources/means.There is no going back from severe cases of HIV/STDs pa naman, mahirap na.

    Pued ba ako magtake ng penicillin even if negative rpr and ftaabs or not sure if may syphillis?

     

    Do not self medicate, i repeat, do not self medicate! It will build your tolerance to antibiotics. It can also cause the virus in your body to mutate/evolve if treated with the wrong meds. Just go to a doctor, they are there for a reason. Being sexually active entails big responsibilities, getting yourself treated is one of those.

    Wag kang mahiya mag pa check up, kalusugan mo yan and safety of your future partners as well. Kung makabili ka man ng hiv test kit, paano kung faulty yung product and it gave you a negative result? So all along you will be living your life thinking you are STD/HIV free when positive ka pa lang and too late mo nang malalaman. When you started this 'lifestyle' dapat alam mo na yung mga kaakibat na consequences and dapat you were prepared for it. You can also just go to a doctor in a private hospital, one on one consultation naman yun eh, hindi mo kailangan mahiya sa doctor, trabaho nila yun, besides buhay mo and well being mo ang pinag uusapan.

     

    Kung lagnat pati ang symptoms, you really need to get yourself checked. This may not be STD/HIV related right away unless may infection ka pero nowadays with covid, dapat talagang magpa check eitherway pag may ganyang symptoms.

     

    Marahil wala ka ngang STD/HIV pero the stress build up and paranoia can cause you bigger problems in the future.

     

    So rapid test kits are not reliable after 6 mos anymore?

     

    What he meant (i think) by his statement is that, HIV/STD tests can only detect STD/HIV after 3-6 months of exposure with the culprit'. Kasi after 3-6 months pa mag sshow yung virus sa katawan ng tao, yun yung window period ng HIV and other STDs. Meaning, if you had sex today with person with HIV at magpatest ka bukas, negative ang lalabas sayo. Sa april mo pa malalaman kung yung nakasex mo today ay nahawaan ka or hindi. Sooooo kung sexually active ka especially sa ganitong lifestyle (sex trade), need talagang magpa check up regularly.
