Anyone here got the globe home LTE? What's the speed in Moonwalk? I'd get converge pero wala pa daw sa area namin e.
-
i am moving to moonwalk pque soon and we were told that PLDT wont be granting our building any leased lines because not very many people wanted landlines (i heard that most people use cellphones nowadays... hehe) so i wont be able to sign up for pldt dsl, and the building admin told me that they do have cable link cableTV and cableInternet.
any feedback on the cable internet? is there a download cap? hows torrenting?

I had the Sun Cel Polaroid bundle. the tablet was OK, serviceable, and can be used as a phone. i gave it to my dad. the phone, however, is horrible! unlocks when on standby, cannot move apps to memory card (unless you root it). its a cheap phone, so i guess you get what you pay for. my only plus to it was that i could use it as a mobile wifi. again, i gave it to my dad after 6 months of use. i went back to my trusty old Sony Ericsson Elm. i would have gone back to my 8 year old W800i but the joystick's up function wont work anymore

it all boils down to what type of games u wanna play.
personally, my money is on the 3ds. Pokemon is all you need.
however, Sun cellular just launched a mobile internet package where they give you a PS Vita as the bundled gadget... interesting!

I almost started a new thread just for buffets... luckily found this...
anyway, here are my top buffets:
1. Dads - when everything else fails, Dads, doesnt. hehe...
2. Something Fishy breakfast buffet - 169Php. the only reason it aint number 1 for me is that the hours are midnight to 10am.... for lunch and dinner, its Dad's prices
3. Cabalen - at 398php, pwede na pag di umabot pang Dads ang budget
4. Kangaroo Jack at Araneta Center - 199php, choices are limited, but again, for a limited budget but want all-you-can-eat, try it
5. Tramway - there's one in Timog and i know another at Shaw, WWCC building (fronting starmall)
Still have not tried Vikings, will probably try this Vday, here at SM Marikina
theres this "The Buffet" at commonwealth ... anybody been there yet?

okay, this text is on the ant queen:
1{G}: Put a 1/1 green Insect creature token into the battlefield.
well, i understand it, but being magic rules gurus... there is no term pertaining to battlefield right??
edit:
some cards had... When X enters the battlefield...
so the battlefield is the term for the... er... playing field.... (e.g. put into play... renaming the in-play zone i guess...)

oooooh.... tricky tricky... sounds very complicated. and a lot of time devoted to research. in that case, i would have to do this when my workload lightens up. thanks so much for the tech info! Really appreciated.

A while back Joss Whedon ("Buffy The Vampire Slayer") put together a script for a live-action "Wonder Woman" film, but was quickly shown the door without much of an explanation. Then, it was revealed that Joel Silver has recently brought on executive Andrew Roma to bring the Amazonian princess to the big screen. Warner Bros, meanwhile, started looking for new writers and have been taking pitches. Now, they have learned that WB and Silver are in a hurry to find a director and are working together to attach elements to the film in order to get it up and going quickly.
there's an animated movie... its quite good... if youre itching for wonderwoman, this should whet your appetite... and it aint for kids... its violent (there are beheadings!)

Thor:
You may recognize Alexander Skarsgård as the 6'4" Nordic vampire Eric Northman on True Blood, or perhaps as Sgt. “Iceman” Colbert from Generation k*ll, or you may just know him as veteran actor Stellan Skarsgård’s son. Now, there’s rumors saying that director Kenneth Branagh is considering him to play the titular gleaming Norse God of Thunder in Marvel’s upcoming film Thor, which will definitely increase that recognition factor.

Clue:
Universal has attached Gore Verbinski to develop "Clue," a live-action murder mystery based on the Hasbro board game that he would direct. Verbinski will produce through his U-based Blind Wink banner, along with Hasbro’s Brian Goldner and Bennett Schneir, who also have an overall deal at the studio. Verbinski will next direct "Bioshock" for U. "Clue" is one of the few board games to surpass $1 billion in sales, in more than 50 markets. It was developed in England by a retired legal clerk named Anthony Pratt during WWII and released in 1948.
wasnt there a Clue movie a couple of years back? Maybe the 80's? if i remember correcly, Tim curry played the butler and Christopher Lloyd was one of the characters.. it was a comedy-murder mystery... with three endings i think....

Your not sure, so pls help me for those who tried to jailbreak there globe iphone 3g w/o compromising their warranty...
Pls give me FR.
if you jailbreak your Globe issued iphone it automatically voids the warranty. so if its a software issue and you take it to globe and they see it jailbroken, they will not touch the unit. if its a hardware issue, first try resetting the software back to the Mac OS software and inspect the phone fully with the Mac software to see it was really a HW issue or just an issue with SW. It just may be possible that the jailbreak was not cleanly done and the issue was SW. because when you go to globe with the phone reset back to Mac OS and they find nothing wrong, and they ask you what's the issue and you tell them it wont work when jailbroken, then you're out of luck sir, they wont fix it.
jailbreaking is risky, but fun. just be sure you know what youre doing.
its just like a PC/laptop sir. (ananlogy)
you buy a branded PC or laptop with legal windows XP installed. and then you decide to install pirated windows Vista, then it breaks down. If you take it back to the store with the pirated windows vista, they'll more likely than not reinstall the winXP that came with it first. that is to check if the issue was with the pirated copy. so before taking the laptop back to the store, just backup your files and reimage the laptop with the included installer and check for issues, if there are, chances are, its a HW issue, take it back to the store where you got it, they see the licensed XP that came with it, and they'll honor the warranty.
