I am total newbie in scale modeling. For Armor models, if I would like to paint camo just by paint brush, how do I go about that?

Also, any tips on weathering? I still have not decide what model to build, but I am leaning towards military armor models. Suggest any model to start with?

I had the same dilemma before, and I chose toyota. It has more features like the corolla-s which has moonroof, side skirts etc etc...its like a sportier version...but i dont think its offered there in the philippines?? correct me if im wrong..
