. I've heard arguments that say "what goes on inside the cubicle" is just part of the job and has nothing to do with their relationship. But I can't help but think that " sa loob ng cubicle man o sa harap mo, ganun pa rin." Your loved one is doing something intimate w another. I am sure if she does it in front of you... 'di ba?

 

Some of us here may be "veterans" in visiting spas. While some might be "newbies". Im not sure. (Will a newbie be more likely to fall for a thera over a more experienced GM whove seen it all? I dont know...)

Anyway, as someone who's had his fair share of theras over the years.. Ive noticed girls behave differently in the ES or GFE dept. Some go all out, acting like youre the hottest guy in the world (which I find OA..unless you actually think you are, of course..lol), while some are more robotic in nature, you can tell theyre not that happy with what they are doing. which is kinda sad and makes you guilty (I rarely see this type anymore, Im guessing they wont last long in the biz). Others you can give "A" for effort, but you can feel the hesitation. Others allow you to kiss them, others dont. Usually its those with husbands or BFs who dont allow kissing and have restrictions. (which reminds me of that rule in "Pretty Woman", NO KISSING!)

My point is.. IF you are indeed in love with a thera.. and even if you accept their job as "trabaho lang", im sure you will wonder what goes on in the cubicle.. is she as sweet as she is with you? Does she do and say the same things to them as she does to you? Or is she more "professional" and robotic, saving all her passionate moments with you? Thoughts like this can drive a man crazy...

What a display by Pacquiao! Clottey tried to step it up and Pacquiao showed him why's the best the in the world. The combinations and aggression are too much for Clottey.

Clottey might have done enough to avoid a shutout. There's only one fight we want to see and this wasn't it.

1) Marikina... i hear a lot of good things done by the Fernandos (BF before and his wife now). Paki-confirm or deny na lang ng mga taga Marikina. Wag na sigurong isama yung Ondoy devastation.. medyo unfair na siguro.

2) Olongapo... mga Gordons naman. Anong say nyo mga taga Olongapo?

3) Davao-- Duterte.. Iron Fist of Mindanao. Ive been to Davao several times and when i take a cab and make small talk sa drivers, all of them binibida ang peace and order of Davao and bilib na bilib sa Mayor nila.

4) CamSur-- few years back di pa masyadong sikat CamSur.. I already saw a feature on TV.. congressman ba or governer nila binibida projects.. bagong tayo pa lang mga wave pools nila and other facilities. Kinekwento nya yung vision and plan nya, how he researched and prepared for everything, marami pa raw syang balak etc. Fast Fwd few years later, totoo nga, napasikat nya CamSur.. nagiging Tourist Spot and Sports destination ngayon sa mundo. And I like their Ad na pinakita yung 2 batang yagit tapos dinumog bigla ng toursit crowd ang beach, pag daan nila sa 2 bata e nagtransform sila na may school uniform na w/ bags pa.. magaling na ad, showed thru symbolism effect ng Tourism sa place nila.

Dont even know this guy's name but i think he deserves kudos and pwedeng tourism sec siguro yun.

5) Meron pa bang mga Best City awards or Cleanest City award-award na yan sa Pinas? Thats a good indicator wouldnt it?

Inside talaga, as in dadaan ka sa Roulette tables and Slot machines.

Saw sa newspaper ad they have PROMO OFFER. I guess to entice people to check out the place.

P 88 for bkfast buffet (starts at 6:00am)

P 188 for lunch buffet (12:00 noon siguro start till 3 pm)

Tried the bkfastt with a date... ok sya .. almost like bkfast sa 5 star hotel, pero limited choices.

Nabasa yata sa flood (although di naman umabot mismo sa stereo, baka yung mga wirings sa ilalim)

Nagloloko kasi keeps getting conked out. I realize baka re-wiring or check-up lang pwede na pero sabayan ko na rin ng palit.

I already "upgraded" 2 years ago by buying 4 speakers.. replaced the 2 old ones and installed 2 new ones and bought a cheap equalizer para maging 4 channel.

Im not an audiophile naman, i dont have CD collection so I dont need CD player, I just listen to AM radio most of the time, and MP3s with an MP3 Modulator OR direct plug sa AUX ng amplifier.

Madalas din plug ko sa AUX yung laptop ko watching DVD/movies or kaya yung TV Celphone to watch TV para malakas sounds.

Been inquiring Car Stereo systems.. mga Pionner and other high end brands. costing 3,500 upwards. As I said not really Audiophile, just looking for decent sounds. And to be honest dami na rin gastos sa car and house bec of flooding so budget concious na me.

Tempted nga ako just to buy 2nd hand stereos.. theyre offering some sa mga car shops dun sa mga nag trade in.. mostly CD based.. ranging from 1,500 to 2,500.

Looked sa Raon, meron pa rin palang cassette radio for P 800 lang! pwede na rin as i dont listen to CDs naman.

Then PROLINE brand from 2,300 to 2,600.. may MP3 playback with USB so ok na to cguro. (kapresyo pa ng ibang 2ND HAND na nakita ko pero Sony naman brand)

Problem is i asked yung iba sabi pangit daw Proline, "tunog lata" daw and some daw are FAKE..

any feedback on the matter from experts here? Any other brand or suggest where i can get decent 2nd hand ones..

I had my cars tinted years ago.

last year i had my front windshield re-tinted bec sa grabe ng init... ang tint lang pala dati is 1/4 lang sa may visor area and not the whole thing. "Magic Black" daw yata.. forgot how much.. at first di ako sanay.. nadidiliman ako, akala mo 5-6pm na magsusunset kahit 12 noon at masikat ang araw. Lalo na at night, parang depressing ang dilim. But nasanay din ako, I guess ok din yung sun protection. And di nga ako nakikita from the outside.. from the front. If they look at the side windows however e kita nila ako.. so i guess it defeats the purpose..hehe

then napansin ko just recently kita na pala ako from outside front.. meaning nag fade yung dark tint nya? (pero tinted pa rin) Bakit ganun?

Also, just had my rear done naman the other day. After Ondoy kasi, na flood car ko.. I guess very humid sa loob so yung rear windshield naging foggy.. parang na-trap ang moisture between the film and glass. Weird a.. ganun ba yun? Dami ko na ngang gastos dahil sa baha ni Ondoy e pati ba naman Tint e nadale din kahit di naman abot dun ang tubig?

So pinagawa ko sa Evangelista.. sa shop talaga offering tint services.. as opposed to those standing on the sidewalk waving at you with strips of film.

Cost daw ORDINARY for the REAR W.SHIELD: 500 + 200 labor daw kasi mahirap daw tanggalin yun.. so 700. Fair price ba?

Tapos pa quote ko side windows ko.. 500 daw LAHAT na (4) sabi ko wow bakit lakit ng difference.. sabi nya kasi maliit daw cut sa sides lalo na yung backseat kasi may triangle pa di ba.. hmmm pero nagmamadali ako so di ko na pinagawa besides ok pa naman sila..

Also, I remember when we were kids and we go to Bagiuo every summer, we go to this place na carinderia style magkakatabi sila.. I even remember the name (kasi as a kid, I thought unique name nya) .. 3 SISTERS where they serve the BEST BULALO I ever tasted (as a kid). Pero marami silang resto/carinderia style magkakatabi and its always full. Nagtataka ako dati kasi medyo sosyal kami dati pero pumupunta parents ko sa place like that. Last few times Ive been to Baguio I tried asking Taxis about this place, they dont know. Ended up trying some restos with BULALO as specialty daw pero nothing especial naman.. comparable lang to Leslie's... any old timers from Baguio know this place im talking about?

Well, just bought 4 new tires kanina sa Evangelista..

Tried looking for the above brands, yung iba walang stocks sa size ko. Sunday late pm na rin so many closed shops na rin.

Ended up buying DURO brand for 1.7k.. (close sa 1.6k na namentiong quote above). Saved P 800 per tire or Php 3,200 rin instead of buying good brand for 2,500 .. :thumbsupsmiley:

Original topic ko is if S&R was ok place to buy tires. kala ko If I can save 100-300 or more ok na. Or even if mas mahal konti lang if good sevice naman pwede na rin. Didnt expect malaki pala masasave ko once i know how to look for other brands aside from the usual Goodyear and Dunlop. I was right, dami akong natanong na shops, if i wasnt looking for specific brands, they are pushing the expensive brands to me.

Anyone know if OK ang DURO brand na to? China made like Nexxen daw.

Just bought DURO tires for 1.7k per tire at Evangelista... China made daw and comparable to Nexxen daw.. malaki rin nasave ko for 4 tires kesa I bought Goodyear and other brands..

May feedback ba for this DURO brand? Was looking for Nanking or Nexxen e wala silang Stocks for my tire size.. Sunday late pm na rin kasi ako napadaan so marami ng saradong shops...

imho, brands in S&R are of the high to mid end types. if you are looking for tires in a budget, there are lots of them outside.

 

example: kumho, nexxen, kelly, gajah tunggal, achilles, federal.

 

i myself have used nexxen, GT, achilles and federal. nice grip. reasonably priced.

for 195/60/15, cost is around 1.6k/tire.

Funny..ive been driving for over a decade pero its been so long ago since I bought tires myself. One time binigyan ako ng Ninong ko when he changed mags.. nice set pa. A friend said cheaper daw sa S&R, but he last bought tires there few years back. I have a relative naman with a card so I can ask him (or my friend) to go with me..

Question.. cheaper ba nga talaga sya? Over tire centers say in Banawe or Pasay?

Impression ko kasi mahal mga gamit sa S&R e.. how much we talking about here? if 100 pesos lang per tire 400 pesos +/- ok lang negligible.. but if 200+ more price diff per tire (cheaper or more expensive) thats a significant difference na.

Any inputs?

Or reco saang good pero affordable tire center? Yung iba kasi alam ko taga. I dont need high-end mag type tires..just basic lang... whats the average price ba of ur average tire? For Mitsubishi Lancer lang.. para di naman ako maloko.. hehe (yan lang nakita ko advantage sa S&R.. I assume they have the fair price set na.. wala ng tawaran.. sa ibang shops.. magtatawaran pa di mo pa sure quality ng ibibigay sa yo or kaya e sa-salestalkin ka naman to get more than what you need)

I really cant see why ANYONE's Halo-Halo would be SUBSTANTIALLY better than the others.. specially kung yang mga tindahan lang or small places..

Ingredients of Halo-Halo are the same.. shaved ice, milk (canned), sugar (generic), and USUALLY, bottled ingredients bought from the supermarket like Kaong, nata de coco, etc.

Its not like baking a cake na may special ingredient or measurements, technique in baking etc.

Or like cooking a dish na also may secret ingredients and heating techniqe etc.

You just get all the ingredients and dump them together. Kaya nga Halo-Halo e...

Having said that, sa Razon's iba nga style kasi mas marami yata gatas nya kesa ice. Maybe they even use special milk (I dont know.) Maybe they or some others use Carabao's milk or something?

Sa Chowking, I saw a feature before..kwento nila yung ingredients binibili nila sa isang manang na may maliit na tindahan sa Arranque dati. Home made yata mga Kaong, leche flan etc. Proved to be so popular that Chowking made her a business partner by setting up a small factory for her and exclusive na syang provider ng Halo Halo ingredients, kaya yumaman yung manang. So that explains bakit masarap sa Chowking, special Homemade ingredients kasi.

Not sure of Razons and others, pero sa tingin ko..pag ordinary resto ka lang e not worth it gumawa ng homemade ingredients.. mas madaling bumili sa grocery ng sangkap.

Sa akin meron.. "Outbox" pero every time u send a message kelangan sabihin mo "Save and Send".. ayoko lang e dami daming pipindutin bago maka-send (pati phonebook, select contact etc).

Anyway, I had 2 cousins from the US nagvacation dito.. havent been here since kids sila.. may Blackberry pa isa. Natatawa sila kasi everywhere they go they hear "Weird Ringtones" daw.. pinakita ko Chinaphone.. with TV, ang lakas ng speakers, (ringtone pa e Michael Jackson.. ang lakas) Nagulat sila (I think bec syempre sa US may safety features ayaw siguro sobrang lakas) tapos FM radio, MP3 and MP4 player, and most of all Dual-Sim.. i showed them i have 2 sims.. impressed sila and tanong mahal ba yan... tempted nga ako sabihin palit na lang kami ng Blackberry nya.. hehe :thumbsupsmiley: I said 3 to 4,000 pesos , gusto ng bumili and ask me if it will work in the US. I honestly didnt know and doubt it.. di ba quad band yata dapast sa US? and not sure if Chinaphones are dual or tri-band lang... anyway, bilib sila sa chinaphone.. di pa yata nakakita ng dual-sim sa US.. wala ba sila nyan or bawal siguro ...

Lastly, ang ayaw ko sa Chinaphone pangit ang mp4 playback.. and most (if not all) dont play divx files..

meron bang chinaphone maganda mp4 playback para watch movies talaga na smooth like dvd player?

Ive tried backreading the last 4-5 pages, wala pa rin akong makitang COMPLETE INFO on rates, save for the occassional post by a member. There have been numerous requests for these rates by mtc members, but no one from Sogo replies here. Those queries are potential business probably lost already.

Worse, I checked their website, and there also wasnt any rates there. If theres anything that irks me (as a one-time web developer and marketing consultant) its a website WITH NO INFO ON PRODUCTS and RATES. You already have the customer's one foot in the door when he takes the time to visit ur website, but when he cant find the info he is looking for there, instead of entering, he'll leave instead.

I KNOW Sogo has very cheap rates, ive been to several branches several times.

What i want to know is the other rates, for bigger/deluxe rooms, for 4, 6 or more hours.. w or w/o jacuzzi, what branches has garage...what i want is a comparable room and rate with VC and Sohotel.. (look at Sohotel's thread, every other post, somone from Sohotel post their rates and promos. Now THAT'S Marketing!)
