  1. Mga tol just read nung election day that Aboitiz power will have an IPO this July at P8 per share. Aboitiz is said to be participating in the privatization of NAPOCOR and the acquisition of various power plants. Ganda kaya to mga genius? Another thing, I have SINO and BSC stocks, medyo bearish ang huli but ang SINO ay pumalo ng .58 all time high. Ano sa tingin nyo? Cut loss naba ako sa BSC tagal na kasi di tumataas.

  2. Regarding the admissibility of text messages, the Supreme Court, in the case of Nuez vs Apao (A.M. No. CA-05-18-P) decided in April 12, 2005, has already settled that text messages are admissible as evidence considering that the same are now covered under Section 1(k), Rule 2 of the Rules on Electronic Evidence.

Anent your other concerns, you can compel the borrower to pay by sending a demand letter signed by a lawyer. If he still fails to pay, you may file a collection suit against him.

  4. I guess what you mean eh yung tickets sa Pacquiao-Morales fight na ite-televise sa SM? Am I right? Anyway, I just wonder, wala ba talagang law against scalping? Di ba hinuhuli yon? Overpricing siya, di ba?

I believe that the act of selling the ticket is not prohibited per se. However, if the seller will not declare his/her income from the sale of such ticket and that he evades the payment of taxes, he may be held criminally liable under the NIRC.

    pls advise. Thanks.

Under the Revilla Law, pede na po gamitin ng baby ang apilyido ng lalake kahit di pa sila kasal ng ina as long as the father recognizez in the certificate of live birth or in any document that the baby is his. Pipirma lang yung lalake sa likod ng cert. of live birth ayos na yun pede na pkta sa civil registrar

  6. mga sir iv got the same problem, past two years na ko hindi nakakabayad kasi i stopped working and went back to school, and nakapag file na ata sila ng case sa makati rtc, is it 100% sure na civil case lang file nila? subpoena lang ba lalabas?then warrant?is it possible na magkaroon ng off the court settlment?

salamat po, medyo bothered na ko eh.

    salamat

If the credit card company already filed a case sa RTC, civil case lang yun and you should be receiving a SUMMONS anytime not subpoena and definitely not Warrant of Arrest as there is no criminal aspect in the case. With respect sa attachment sa salary, posible yun if the credit card company applied for a Writ of Attachment and that a Notice of Garnishment is issued by the Sheriff. If your payroll fund is credited to an ATM account pwede ma- garnish yun. Posible ang settlement if there is already a case filed but it should be approved by the Court. Kung wala ka pambayad or any property under your name, dont worry, huag mo pansinin yung case kasi wala naman sila ma aatach and di ka nila pwede ikulong.
