I have a divan.  It belonged to my late grandmother, who was married to a well-known politician (also deceased).  I need someone to BOTH appraise the value of the divan and to broker a sale.  The divan probably dates back to the 1950s, but I can't say for sure.  We can discuss a profit-sharing scheme once you've seen the divan itself.

what do you mean by doing business in china? doing as in you're based in the mainland or more like trading with guys from the mainland?

 

if your doing the first one, & suppose you'd be based in the mainland, you have to know  at least a little of the language. mandarin so its universally understood specially by the business sector. then you have to have a guangxi, plus all the requisites of a regular business profile. capitalization could be minimal for manufacturing business but others, i don't know. government regulations are just regular like philippine standard except for monetary fluctuation issues. its prohibited to send out dollars out of china or profit from the fluctuation of it. this can be arrange with simple regulations & procedures. whew, daming gagawin, but if you are really interested, you can ask some guys doing it now in china, like some filipino guys doing it good in hongkong then they transfer their operations in shenzhen.

i see. well as long as its not natural i'm not for it kasi eh. take for example hydroxycut. my kidney almost broke down because it will really drain your body of liquid and water by urinating almost every 30mins. during sleeping that happened also. reviews told me that its not suitable for the filipino built. i'm now trying green tea capsules and noni cereal (fiber-rich). formula to lose 4.6% of body fat in 3 months....

would you happen to be talking aout BELLSOUTH? ahehehe! anyway, been working as a call center rep for 2 years now.. side effects: made me isolated from the gimiks that i usually enjoy with my non call center friends. also working with different shifts trained me how to sleep a-ok even when the bio-clock has been disrupted.. so far never had heart or lung probs, also not high blood... well its in the lifestyle din kasi.. i workout and i dont dig caffeine... i eat oatmeal everyday as well....

Like some of our colleagues here who have suggested to prioritize your studies first, I will go for that also. When I was in college, I also tried working as a crew for jollibee but man, it really is very difficult. So I salute those who were able to do both at the same time and still finished top of their class. But for the majorityit really is a struggle.

You will need good grades just to get a competitive edge when u enter the corporate world. On the hundreds and thousands of graduates each year competing for a newbie job, Good luck! let alone you only have so-so grades.

After college, then you can decide for yourself what you want to do. If its just extra bucks you're looking for, I might have the thing for you...pm me if you're interested... :headsetsmiley:

i beg to disagree. if you have the finances without any worry, why would you just sit at home? y dont you reach out and socialize, feed the world, establish a foundation, run for president even. yes its true that life doesn't have to revolve around money. but if you do have the resources, think of the tremendous contributions you can give to society. there is nothing wrong about money. the excessive love for it, IS.
