  1. qc (new manila area) - i'm from that area and it's accessible. it usually takes me less than an hour to get to the places i regularly go to (whether it's manila, makati, greenhills, ortigas, up, marikina, the fort, or even somewhere else in qc). the only time that i'm sure i'll need to drive more than an hour is when i go to alabang or antipolo... :(

  2. I pretty much agree with 1-4, but I never liked the comic book versions of lit classics. I also liked:

    5) dr. seuss books

    6) the little house series - ALL of them

    7) little women, little men and jo's boys

    8) the babysitter's club series (i have no idea why, though!)

    9) sweet valley twins (a LOT more than sweet valley high)

    10) the little prince (which is STILL my  favorite book!)

btw, you spelled "enid blyton" correctly.  :thumbsupsmiley:

    oh! i almost forgot!

i also loved "heidi" and books by r.l. stine and christopher pike! :P

  3. Books I loved when I was a kid:

    1) Judy Blume's children's books - Tales of a Fourth-Grade Nothing, Fudge, Super Fudge and Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great

    2) Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys Mysteries

    3) Bobbsey Twins

    4) Enid Blyton's (spell-check nga) Secret Seven

    5) literary classics in comics format

  4. Piercings - I have two in each ear. Pretty boring. I'm thinking of getting one at the top of my left ear and/or a belly button ring.

Tattoo - I have an 8-year old tattoo on my back (near my right shoulder), which I got the summer between high school grad and college. It was done by Eugene Testa at the Body Place in Galeria. It's a slepping angel. The colors have faded a bit, so I need to have it retouched.

I wanna get another one on my ankle, but I'm not sure. I don't know what design to get. I want something a bit feminine pa rin, but butterflies and roses seem a bit corny.

  5. Belinni's Pizzas (hidden in the Marikina Shoe Expo in Araneta Center) are just perfect for me!  thin, flaky crust, fresh tomatoes, basil, some other herbs, some fresh anchovies, capers, black olives, drizzled with EVOlive oil and drops of their special chili oil.

    *im getting hungry*

Wow.. I've heard of this place, but I've never been there. I really should try it... Hmmm...

I like Yellow Cab and thin crust pizzas from Shakeys, though. I just add a lot of hot sauce/chili flakes.

Sbarros pizzas are ok, too. :)

  6. I'm chubby. At least that's what I think. This pretty much means I'm somewhere between fat and thin, but I've got "more skin" than I need on my bones. (Yeeeaaaaahhhh.... Riiiiiggggghhhttttt...)

In any case, I used to be thin, but people said I needed to gain weight. Now, I gained weight, but I get mixed reactions... Eeeewaaaannnn.....

  7. Hmm, sasalungat ako sa advice ng ibang MTC bros natin.

If it is your first car, I would suggest a brand new one.

The Kia Picanto seems ok naman.

    Why?

    1) A brand new car is under warranty, so less hassle for you.

Lalo na at dehin ka pa sanay sa auto, baka lalong sumakit ulot mo kapag nasira ang mag parts.

    2) A brand new can can be completely insured

Meaning, kapag nabangga ka, casa kaagad iyan

    Just my two cents worth.

My first few cars were second and third hand ones.  Talangan sumakit ulo ko sa kanila.

    I totally agree.

In addition to the above, I don't think you should get a 2nd hand car unless you have no other options, or you know the person who used to own the car, kse you never know what could be wrong with it...

  8. I used to be into Taekwondo (blackbelt, but 1st dan pa lang). I haven't trained in years, but I wanna get back to that. :(

I play basketball sometimes, but guys don't wanna seem to play against me, kse I'm a girl, and I don't know enough girls who play...

I'm so out of shape.

  9. Neverwhere? I wanna read that! Is it any good? It's by Neil Gaiman. He wrote American Gods too. I've read American Gods na. Really good. Neil Gaiman does the Sandman graphic novels too. Super galing.

The last book I read was Angels and Demons. I'm about to start reading Jedi Eclipse. It's a Star Wars book.

anne rice, and ung book na ang title ay neverwhere......

    :boo:
