Promising zombie comedy. Could be our next Shaun of the Dead.

Daybreakers...

Ethan Hawke, Sam Neil and Willem Dafoe. A seemingly smart vampire movie that has traces of "True Blood" in it. This might be just what I need to get the taste of that "other" vampire movie out.

Also, another good Christian Bale movie is The Machinist. Great story and the transformation he underwent from buff Bruce Wayne to the the skin-and-bones character he played in the movie is amazing!

I was able to watch 28 Weeks Later last night.

 

The flick was entertaining and it kept me tuned the entire movie.

 

It was better than the first one and I have no regrets watching it.

I'll have to agree. 28 weeks was pretty entertaining. I knew it was going to be an intense ride after seeing that riveting opening. Just prepare to turn your brain off when you start spotting plot-holes so as not to spoil it (2 kids easily got through a mini city protected by the freaking military?).

Classic yung mga "text adventure" type like Immoral Studies! :thumbsupsmiley:

pare you should watch the original, infernal affairs hong kong made movie. trilogy to...pero as usual yung una ang pinakamaganda! i hope hindi binago yung original story.

Oo nga eh. I was reading a review of this earlier and I found out that it's based on that Asian movie. I don't think they changed the main story a lot, except they made the crime boss' role bigger to accomodate Jack Nicholson.

Watch it dude. Kahit na medyo disappointed ako sa ending, it's still a great movie and hindi sayang P120 mo.

Awesome cast. Great build-up. I was on the edge of my seat for two thirds of the movie... But the "wtf?" ending was a let-down. I left the theater thinking that this could have been an instant crime movie classic if it weren't for that ending.

I was intrigued because you play a cameraman following a news crew as the city is attacked by these weird monsters... Plus sabi sa ad, you get to shoot women in compromising situations for added points (haha... I know, i have to get out more)!

Sounds interesting right? But the game itself is crap. It plays more like a point and click adventure game than a survival horror. What's even more dissapointing is that I'm halfway through it and I've endured what is possibly the lousiest voice acting in game history but I've yet to see dang women in compromising situations!

What I like about RE4 is that it looks like the RE series is "maturing" and branching out. Different location, modified villains/zombies, an interesting story (man, do I feel sorry for the people in those town), and of course better controls which means over all, a more enjyable playing experience. :cool:

Have you guys seen the preview for RE5? It's set in the Middle East and the lead MAY be Chris Redfield. What I found interesting is that based on the stills, it's going to be set in the DAYTIME. Wow. I wonder how that's going to pan out...

regarding IRL... kanya kanyang oponion yan.. for me hndi ko na binili yong IRL kasi FOR ME mas superior yong CT.. unless gusto mo ng walang ka challenge challenge na boss fights then go ahead bili ka ng IRL (on your 2nd playthrough)..

- wide area/explosive type of weapon... sisiw lang yong mga kalaban na kumpol kumpol

* FOR ME: hndi ko gusto yong design ng baril.. i mean Thompson (Medal of Honor Allied Assault)/ alternate Tommy gun sa RE4?!? c'mon 2005 na ito at least man lang carbine para mass cool... hehehe
