my 1st impression was "disappointed" cuz I only read and speak english...some of the best parts of the site are in tagolog. then i find it strange that on each thread you begin with the oldest and go to the newest which is backwards...some threads have been going for several years.

but as with anything, i do the best i can and really enjoy the site

my sociology professor in college asked "what are people for"?.....for me, my philosophy is that the purpose of man is to be compassionate...what is compassion? think of compassion as a multi-vitamin consisting of patience, tolerance, understanding, forgiveness, mercy, honesty, love, hopefulness, gentleness, generosity and a few more that I cant remember right now...that is our purpose...to transmit compassion to every living thing on earth....it is a worthy task, a worthy purpose...and something we all will have difficulty achieving...it will be easier to climb mount everest and write my name in the snow than to be compassionate to those i dont like or treat me badly...but no one told me it would be easy...but its worth trying and practicing because it is the only thing that makes sense to me

My favorite is Dad's in Glorieta...over the years i watched the price climbing upwards but if u are hungry and want quality food, then Dad's is my choice...you can choose from 3 different food types or try all 3 if u pay extra....I eat mostly from the Saisaki/japanese food cuz i like raw fish....since I spend most of my philippines time in cebu, I am glad that they opened a branch there in SM....
